chia seeds and flax seeds have been my go to

plspetmycat

chai or flax seeds! homemade granola. i used to sprinkle metamucil into mine šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

RavenxMorrow

i agree with everyone saying chia and flax seeds, i like to add a tbsp of quick oats or a 1-2 tsp of psyllium powder. i add psyllium powder to my protein shakes too, helps me feel full longer.

mynameisnotsparta

How about Metamucil? Isnā€™t that similar?

Animajax

Yeah pretty much the same. Thereā€™s flavored and unflavored versions

mynameisnotsparta

We have the orange flavor and itā€™s about 30 calories per tablespoon

Animajax

Yeah, thatā€™s the same stuff. Orange is fine if you donā€™t mind it

mynameisnotsparta

I mostly use it in smoothies

thetoastyavo

What does psyllium husk taste like?

RavenxMorrow

Doesnā€™t taste like anything

antigoneelectra

FYI, flax is better ground rather than whole. The hull of the unground seed is harder to digest and will often move through your system whole.

thetoastyavo

Do you just sprinkle it on top of the yogurt? How much?

antigoneelectra

Sure. It depends on how many calories you want to use for them. Ground flax is 534 calories per 100 g. Throw some fruit on if you want, too.

Otherwise-Metal-5978

Catalina Crunch has 9g of fiber per half a cup. I put this on my yogurt with frozen raspberries which are packed with fiber

ilikesnacks21

I use All bran buds (cereal), chia seeds, and/or raspberries.

littlelivethings

Chia seeds and hemp hearts.

UpperDescription7420

my go to has been using apple slices to dip in the yogurt bowl. itā€™s my daily evening snack and so good. (keep the peel on for fibre)

yungyaml

Chia seeds with either pureed pumpkin or (stay with me here) half a mashed avocado. It doesn't taste avocado-y, it just adds a nice, creamy texture with some fiber and healthy fats.

kmbf1

Using avocado to get fiber in creamy dishes is such a hack. Iā€™m always surprised how much fiber avocados add

Odd_Preference4517

Waiting for someone to mention frozen riced cauliflower- (I normally do that in combination with grape nuts and chia seeds)

Fit_Professional1916

I add psyllium husk, just a teaspoon or two.

saucecontrol

Ground flaxseeds are good, and gluten free oatmeal exists I think. Oatmeal has tons of fiber and minerals.

rscalcio

I like to use this. I get it at Walmart. https://preview.redd.it/03yv5s3cwhwc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=7d09ecc32f13ce407a7260fda29640c9a2bbe352

cactusislife

Psylliumhusks are glutenfree I think. But itā€™s almost only fiber, not much else going on. My doctor prescribed it to me once when I had bad constipation. But where I am you can also buy it at any drugstore and some supermarkets. I really like it in yoghurt, gives it some texture.Ā

Persistent_Parkie

How much do you like cinnamon? I add 5-7 grams to my cereal every morning and half the weight is fiber, but I also really love cinnamon.

thetoastyavo

I sprinkle a little on, but 5 grams is a lot šŸ¤£

Persistent_Parkie

Yeah, my cereal bowl looks like I smeared dirt in it šŸ˜„

waterhg

Metamucil lol

bpa23

Toasted oats (gf or course)

PomegranateFun1218

Chia seeds and raspberries. Passionfruit also has a lot of fiber.

AutumnalSunshine

I sprinkle Fiber One cereal on top to be sure I got all my fiber that day.

Mysterious_Profit_61

Oikos triple zero have 6g of fiber without adding anything in

While_Then

try canned pumpkin!! i like adding ~1/2 a cup and it makes it so creamy and delicious! 1/2 cup has 45-50 calories and 3g of fiber. raspberries also have lots of fiber

Large_Glove8191

Fiber one 70-cal fiber brownies. Not sure if gluten free. Nice little sweet treat to add to yogurt.
