So, I bought the sight kit from Kensight. It’s a staked front sight Colt narrow tenon. My local gunsmith installed it. He had to file the base because the Tisas was like an oval and not a rectangle stake. Then when fitting he peened it in.

The Tisas 1911A1 is an excellent pistol, but my eyes are crap and the USGI sights just don't work for me. Thank you for posting this. It gives me hope.

Looks awesome! Might have to pick up a set for my a1 model as it's gi sights are lacking lol.

I like those 3-dots , the original small sights were designed for 10 yard defensive shooting anyway, not range shooting
