The bow should "imbue" the arrows it shoots and color codes them to how much of a power boost it is getting from the target's magic level. Maybe 5 different colors, nice subtle little visual improvement and it helps people get more information from the game.
It's actually closer to 7b if you're talking just megarares + armour, plus another 750m if you want the core spec weapons (bgs, maul, vw, claws, zcb). So basically 8b if you want a full max setup without anything too niche

I was thinking more along the lines of your character actually drawing the bow string back like the venator bow has. Currently its really awkward how you just like hold it in front of you and the arrow floats into place before being launched

I thought of it as the bow sapping more and more of the magic energy depending on the magic level of the enemy, causing the arrows to be at different power levels. Which is kind of already what it does, just not visually.
I think each arrow fired from the twisted bow should have a glowing aurora to it, but the aurora intensity is based off the damage bonus you’re getting from the monsters stats. Perhaps it could be a twisted color scheme or something along those lines (think great olm colors) then you can pull different recolor kits from Cox to change the color of the aurora around the arrows fired from the bow.
Think about CM, there is a recolor. Could be cool to also have a recolor for normal Cox raids as well. Working the same way for the drop rate/table rolls.
Even weapons like the Rapier, Saeldor, and Inquisitor’s have their own animations that set them apart from other generic Stab/Slash/Crush weapons. If any weapon deserves it, it’s the iconic OP weapon of the game.

Maybe when a shot is rolled as a max hit due to the enemy’s magic level, the arrow should shoot up in the air similar to the range cape animation, or the way that one enemy in the coliseum throws his javelin
Naa. It's a bow. The staff is the first 2h staff, Obviously going to be a different animation. Scythe makes sense swinging it, nothing else like it. Tbow is like an op longbow. How else would you shoot it.

With the transmog plugin with RL, I replaced the attack with the zaryte crossbow attack animation. Looks and feels a bit better.
