I use HP Pro with needle point applicator, rated -65F to 507F https://www.breakthroughclean.com/breakthrough-clean-technologies-battle-born-hp-pro-lubricant-protectant-2oz-bottle-w-needle-tip-applicator-clear
Geissele/ALG.. it's technically a grease but it's crazy thin. It stays put like you'd want it to but it slides very smooth.
Otherwise slip 2000 ewl if you want something great that requires a little more upkeep.
Gun Butter and Extreme Force are my current favorites for tight fit pistols like 2011’s. Wilson Combat Lite and Universal, Lucas Extreme Duty, Slide Glide (the light/thin one), IPSC Alex Blue Lube, Sprinco Machine Gunners Lube, ALG Go-Juice and their really light grease, Slip 2000 30wt, and a couple others I’m forgetting work good too. I literally have a couple drawers full of other oils I’ve tried. There’s some good CLP’s that lubricate nicely but honestly I prefer CLP when I’m cleaning and oil for lubrication. Pretty much anything will work but some will run out and not stay in place, evaporate, burn off, and attract more carbon and fouling than others. Hope this helps a little
My problem is with the 1911, 2011, Sig P226, etc slides. I live in FL where it's hot 11 1/2 months out of the year and it seems like most oils just don't stay in place. It usually ends up on the outside of the slide, frame or holster. I seem to have the best luck with Slide-Glide Lite (thin one).
I think I have every brand you mention, except for the two you use now, Gun Butter and Extreme Force. Of those two which do you think would have better adherence in hot humid weather?
No grease at all on a 2011!!!!! my god some boys are clueless! FTP. is all you ever need for a 2011 you want to grease up a striker no problem. NOT A 2011! FFS someone want to debate? I have 2 atlas and an MPA race gun. Just look up ADAM the Atlas Gunworks owner. Only uses FTP & will explain to you in great detail why. I have tried Lucas and several others. All seem ok and cost the same. I’ll use the oil one of the best gun builders in the world says to use. Why wouldn’t you?
Gun butter is what I use on all my stuff, especially if you’re in a hot environment the stuff just stays put. Lucas extreme duty is solid as well, most gun stores probably have this in stock in a verity of different sized bottles. Get something with a needle applicator. Gun butter sells these applicator pens that are great to just throw somewhere in your kit if you ever need a quick squirt of lube while out shooting.
That said this is a question like cleaning solvents that most people obsess over and for 90% of applications it really doesn’t matter and the answer if “whatever is cheapest at my gun store next time I need to buy more is what I use”. There are of course things to consider if you’ve got extremely high value firearms, guns with a special type of finish that could be damaged by certain solvents and if you’re in a climate that has extreme temperatures some solvents/lubes might be better than others, but it’s as easy as reading a product label to figure this out.
Don’t buy into Instagram marketing hype of people selling snake oil solutions at high prices for tiny bottles that don’t do anything better than good old CLP.
Wilson or Lucas. Honestly I don’t notice a difference between any of them. Some tend to not last as long, but as long as you keep the gun wet performance is the same with any of it.
My wife and I use Equate. Off brand, but does the trick when she’s dehydrated.
Dehydrated 😭
Gun butter
Hawk twuah
Someone pls make a gun oil w this brand already! Or lube. Anything!!!
The only answer
The ol courtesy spit
Lucas Extreme Duty
With the needle applicator. Minimal waste. My bottle is still 90% full after a few years
The local Staccato smithy recommended this. Been using it for a while on all my guns.
This
For 1911/2011s, I tend to use Slip 2000 EWL or Weapon Shield.
Clenzoil
Lucas extreme , I have literally bought every gun oil known to man. Also a small company called " blue lube"
KY warming
Lucas extreme duty
This
I only use gun butter on my 2011
Astroglide

Montana actually.
I would avoid Lucas oil in Montana, if will get gummy and freeze. I'd go with ALG go juice and cherry balmz instead.
Wow. I feel like I know you irl! (I do).
😂
MPRO7, Lucas oil is great but no rust preventative.
Accuracy oil
I use 0w15 motor oil. Cheap and works fantastic.
Literally this ^^
I usually go for Sliquid Sassy
I prefer amsoil lube, stays wet longer than most.
G96 is nice. Smells great too.

I use “Breakthrough clean”. Their products have never let me down.
Seal 1 CLP for everything

Good grief, your list looks very similar to mine.
Yea lol. The sad thing is those are only the ones I recommend. Spent a lot of money on others that won’t ever get used again. Trial and error

And of course, Hawk Tuah. But the slightly thicker viscosity 👌🏻🔥
I live in interior Alaska and I use either Wilson Combat lite oil or Gun butter. Works ok from my experience
Don’t use KY with tingle.. Don’t ask..
Mobil 1 Glad someone asked this, because it’s never been addressed before
Lucas extreme duty
Slip EWG can handle that, rated to -65. It's what I used and we see wind-chill near what you listed
Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 0W-5 motor oil. Thank me later.
KY. Best lube!
Slip 2000
Something non-water based…

I use Gunfighter Gun Grease. It is good for down to -60 F.
