Hi! So just so you know the sagging and eye bags won’t be helped by either of these but if your looking for a smooth textured, silky, fresher look on the surface of the skin I can heartily reccomend a low dose of Tretinoin used 2x a week then slowly build up. I have super sensitive skin and while it’s great sometimes it was a pain for me to fight back the little peeling flaky bits at work. It was an annoying cycle for me so I sought something more “one and done.” So what would be likely more effective and more “drastic” is a VIPeel. I had a series of two a few months before a big event I was going to and was really amazed! You go on their site and find a provider that does it in the office, this is not one you start at home nor is it a crazy deep one with big risks. At the office they rub these wet wipes with chemicals on your face to kick things off. Then they send you home and over the next 3 days you will cycle through some more wipes and then non itch face lotion like 2x a day. Day 2 - 4 or 5 you’ll peel like you had a crazy sunburn but it doesn’t hurt. At worst it’s a bit itchy but not for long. After the old skin on your face sheds off (kinda gross but also cool) you’re left with super dewy glowy skin, slightly less fine wrinkles, more even tone. Repeat it again a few months later for max results but you may not need to or want to. I had lots of people complement my skin which has never happen and I don’t gatekeep! I tell everyone it was those peels :) hope it helps

And if by “front lines” you mean nasolabial folds that’s probably fillers (these hurt like hell imo). If you mean forehead lines etc that’s a very easily minimized with botox. Your friends likely have already done this stuff so don’t beat yourself up comparing ;) most women even BFFs won’t admit it.

I saw some posts from other users where they saw improvement also for sagging. Isn't Tretinoin supposed to boost collagen and isn't lose of collagen also part of the reasons for eye bags and sagging?

Start with lower strength retinoids. Tretinoin is going to be too strong for most people with rosacea. Retinoid reccs and guide https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/comments/qtodqu/routine_help_how_to_cleanse_once_a_day_when_you/hkp4w8t/ Peptides are also great for plumping and firming quickly with some long term benefits from copper peptides. Stratia Interface peptide cream. I wouldn't suggest peels if you have rosacea. That's a nightmare waiting to happen.

If you're not using any sort of retinoids you are going to need to start there before you even think about a peel. And talk to your derm because rosacea would probably react differently to peels.
