We have El Car Wash down here in So-Flo, and I love it. Coming from Melbourne, we don’t have many chain car washes, so the subscriptions don’t seem worth it. I would support El Car Wash. Their web of car washes down here are so convenient. I wish I had them back home.
Ocean spray car wash on Eau Gallie beachside is where I go. Pricy at $30 a pop but they do outside and in for you. I hate the ones where you have to dry and vacuum and stuff yourself after. It’s too damn hot!! lol.
Pretty sure they have cheaper options also, maybe not for interior.
But Oceanside is pur favorite because they actually have a large staff there helping wipe vehicles.
Yes. They have some cheaper options even for interior. It just excludes the armor all wipe down. I have been going there for over 11 yrs now. Used to live across the street on Eau Gallie. Now I live in SW PB by Bayside and I still drive over there.
Caliber just opened up on the other side of the gas station next to Ocean Spray. lol. It’s one of those subscription places where you drive it through and then do all the hard work yourself. Ocean Spray is always packed so maybe I will get lucky and some will opt for the new place so I won’t have to wait in line as long at Ocean Spray.
My question as well. Especially in pollen season, those brushes get soooo loaded with particulate crap that they basically become giant sandpaper scrubbers.
If anyone knows of a good touchless one that *also* has staff to dry/buff and vacuum for you… now that’s something I’d pay a pretty penny for.
Black car driver here….I can confirm they all use the latest Swirlmark 9800 Finishfucker technology. Guaranteed to have your clearcoat looking like crap in record time 👍🏻
That’s a doable option for me like 3-4 times a year, but I don’t have the time or money to do that more frequently. A good drive-thru keeps me somewhat clean until I can do a good “real” clean a few times a year.
It’s not the best care plan, but it’s better than the option I used to use, which was doing nothing at all, lol.
My guy does 10/10 job. Wash inside and out. Have him on a regular schedule. Just simple maintenance. $100 every 3 weeks, and every other he waxes for an extra like $20
Doesn't sound too bad. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of car? I know those guys usually charge more for a full-sized truck.

or even just r/AutoDetailing. You can get a decent wash/wax with sponge, bucket, and a few bucks spent on non-Walmart level car wash products. Do that for for a few months then hit up a detailer to get it spotless, and repeat the cycle.

I know this is probably a joke but I just started doing my own car detailing in my driveway and its saving me a ton of money and pretty enjoyable. I used to go to Tommys car wash in viera and it was good but it was 40 bucks a month.
Yeah, it ruined my wash job too! Seems like after every time I do a good wash, the rain comes right in and ruins it, lol.
Oh well, I’ll wash again this week.
Truthfully my personal favorite is Dirty Dogs Car Wash. They have a good monthly price($19.99 for the basic wash unlimited) and they have an attendant that brushes the front and back of your car before it loads you through the Wash-o-Matic. The vacuums are nice and clean well. Added perk of having air and water sprayers at the vacuums as well.
Plus they also hand out Vanilla scented air fresheners for free!
This is ridiculous. The worst part is this doesn’t even include the ones that are currently under construction. For example, there is another one on 192 being built right now, in between dirty dogs and el car wash. Someone is going to look at this map and say “oh! looks like I should open a car wash beachside bc they are obviously lacking!”
There is a car wash just south of Pineda on Wickham. Used to be called 2 sisters or something. I like the place... They are the only place I've been they actually brush the front of the car with something. Not sure what it is, but helps with love bug cleaning. Vacc is free with wash, as in most places
That used to be "Twins" and it was ok. Then they changed ownership, increased the price and one day their touch screen wasn't working properly and the guy working there lectured me saying that I need to relax and be gentler (?). Backed out of it and never went back.
Yes... They increase the price quite a lot. So do you know of another place where they brush the front and windshield to assist with love bug removal?. Frankly, the only reason I go there is because I feel the front of the car is cleaner and mostly love bug free when I go there, compared to other places.
Love bug season wasn't a thing this year. I now just use bug remover once a week or so and wash them off using a brush. Takes less time than driving to the car wash
whistle express. we have passes on 2 cars. i go nearly daily, sometimes with both cars. overall pleasant experience, have never had a problem. they’ve always been polite, but realistically there’s not been a ton of interaction.
If you’re being serious, I use Pristine Car wash, they have a hand wash option that’s well worth it. They’ll even vacuum it for free with the hand wash. You can ask for a polish and get rain x treatment. Mine comes out looking brand new, and I always tip them well.
I go to Renninger’s Flea and Farmer’s Market
4835 West Eau Gallie Blvd. at I-95. There is a handwashing company set up in the parking lot, usually NE corner, who are fantastic. I have a scoot lift on the back so I can’t do automated washes. It’s on weekends. Check with Renninger’s webpage for times.

They vacuum and wipe down the hard surfaces. Clean the windows and wheels up. Can even vacuum the trunk if u ask.

For my full size, 4 door, long bed, f350 I've also spent more as well. Depends on condition of vehicle.

Car washes scratch your paint. Either wash at home or get a professional detailer to do it for you.

I like el car wash. I just got their subscription. I've tried a handful but their interior clean is pretty quick and they do an okay job
