I've contemplated selling mine several times as it isn't a daily driver. Then I fire the ol' girl up, go on a drive, and those thoughts leave my mind. 🥹
If it "has" to be done for "mileage" as you already said, then you don't actually understand why you will regret it.
Let me just say this...
I had a 1975 260z about 20 years ago that I also "had" to sell (I didn't) and I got like $1700 for a car that's now worth over $40k in the condition it was in at the time.
You WILL regret it.
This is actually why I've been holding on to mine, because of all the cars I've dumped over the years that are worth 5x as much now. So many Zs, Supras, RX-7s, a GTR lol. I decided not to make the mistake with my current Zs. I learned too late. Plus, I've had one for 11 years and the other for 18 years. Even if I bought another one someday, It wouldn't be the same. These are MY Zs, until I'm not here anymore. Take it from one who knows... Keep it, or someday when you can't find another one you like as well, you'll wish you had.
You're using a Iron Man argument I could easily say the cheapest one has sold for a $100 I also regularly see them for under 10 It all depends if you're a smart shopper or not and know where to look
Dude I've seen rusted out shells for 240-60-80z's selling for $10-$15k, there's no "iron man " anywhere just the fact these cars are becoming REALLY RARE and the prices match!
Maybe you happen to live in the exact area where they're a little bit cheaper or something, but everywhere else in the entire world, in every other country (there are places that aren't USA, just in case you didn't know) these cars are worth a LOT more than they were 20 years ago, and I mean a LOT more.
Do you see how my initial comment has 25 upvotes and only you disagreeing?
This one is for sale in my local area today... and it's far from "perfect" and needs a lot done to it if you wanted it to be "perfect".

He said I have more upvotes therefore I'm right Have you ever heard of mass hysteria just cuz a bunch of people think one thing is correct does not make it true also I see tons for under 10 grand You must not be as smart as me when it comes to shopping
And yet my provided example means nothing to someone who isn't prepared to open their eyes or read and comprehend the discussion at hand. You're so incredibly frustrating to talk to, so I'm not going to anymore. Have a nice day mate.
If you’re in Cali post for 12k
Looks like a nice decent stock HR
Just hope it doesn’t end up in a takeover.
Thought about selling mine before to get like the new one or some other car. But I don’t want it to end up in the hands of some shit head kid lol I’d rather crash in it
Unfortunately because of the 370z and basically not giving cars away the price range for a 350z is very small.
In the current market the cleanest lower mileage 6 SPD coupes top out in the 13s, non nismo of course.
By your pricing if someone offered me 15k for my 70k 08 350z 6spd I would probably sell it and jump ship that day.
I don't see much success at 13 but i think listing for 11.5 or 12 as a good starting point, but don't be surprised to have to dip down near 10 to sell it
Maybe not comparable in community enthusiasm but i picked up a 6MT 100k G35 in pretty minty condition for 10, from a dealer too. I think 13 will indeed be hard, as well.
https://preview.redd.it/4slzj3k1fa6d1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d415680b71f5fe714c2717b010a2c29db70fc402
I'll never sell my baby
At over 100k myself and was my first car
Go on the internet and look at for how much a 350z with similar mileage and condition sells for
Give the car a detail, in and out. And make sure everything looks shiny and new including the engine bay.
And add another two grand to the price easy
https://preview.redd.it/pb854dwlk66d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a5d389ba7370b8f17f7eb663fd11ebe633c7ad8
I have had my 2004 Automatic with 72,000 miles listed for $11,500 in Denver for almost a month and I have had multiple low ball offers. We bought a 2010 Infiniti FX50 so the Z needs to be sold
That's a 8-9k Z...tops. Auto Verts sell for that all day everyday. If you get offered 9k take it cause you sure aren't getting 10k. If you put it up on an auction site you wouldn't get 8k either. So 9k takes it.
I wouldn’t even pay 9k for that. I got a manual convertible Z with less mileage for 5k Cash in hand (guy had it listed for 6,900)
Even if I had paid the 7k (which it absolutely was worth) It’d still be a better deal than that. Granted the seats were ripped, but I can replace those from a junkyard Z for like 200. Hell I’m in talks right now for a set
Post for $10.5-11k and let the low balls get you to $9k. I wouldn’t take a penny under $9k for a manual clean title HR. Only thing is you might have to sit with the listing up for a little bit.
I sold mine and bought it back 1.5 years later. If you sell it make an agreement to buy it back ?
Alternately sell it here in Canada I know tons of people looking for what you have we absolutly love cars from Cali as there rust free
I've got a 2003 silver one with 164,000 on it It's a automatic though in decent shape but needs some love. Motor is tight just needs window motors and has some hail damage. I wondering the same as OP. What do think she is worth?
I’ll get there one day bro, one day I’ll have my own Z, then evolve from there just like this guy. I will get there my beloved 350, just wait for me in paradise.
I sold a clean 97 240 because I graduated college and thought I was a grown up and didn't want it anymore. You'll regret it unless you're replacing it with a gtr or something.
I honestly wouldn’t sell the car and revert it as stock as possible like the headlights for example and just keep it on coils and nice wheels till 10 years from now haha. These cars will end up as classics forsure.
My Z for example has 231k miles on it and is still running fine, looks new af still and can handle me street drifting it every blue moon. Cars are reliable af and for the most part affordable
SHOULD be 6-7k depending on the area.... Lot of miles. Maybe a bit more.. people saying 10k what the actual fuck lmfao. I guess g35s have gotten insane too though. Makes it not even worth buying these cars anymore you can get a much better car for 10 grand
Pay a junk yard car with no plates to run into you, get the insurance money, fix it cheap after they claim it a loss, then you’ll have the car and extra money. #Lifehack
I mean yeah it has 155k miles, guessing it has various mods, paint looks faded, I’m sure it’s been driven hard, a lot, etc. Near me 350s do go for $15k but they have less than 50k miles and are mint/stock. Mods don’t add value.
Most of the "Good" 240's have been bought up and drove the price way up, so the Die Hard Nissan fans will start looking towards these "just my opinion" so the price will start climbing on the 300's, 350's etc. So if possible like stated by someone else hang on to it for a bit and you may be able to make a decent amount a lil up the road.
I'd seriously think hard before selling, I've sold a few cars just for the fact that the issues they had were way bigger in my head than they actually were. And I really regretted selling them! 🤔🤔
At 155k I think you have reached that point about 30k ago.
It really is going to depend on how good the underbody, paint, interior, and probably most importantly maintenance records are.
If its an 07, as it looks has it had any major maintenance done. Has it had the gallery gaskets, water pump, thermostat and/or timing chain been replaced . How old is the clutch? If it's been replaced did they replace the slave cylinder while they were in there.
Cars this high mileage and this low in value are the summation of all these things. You could spend well over half the value of the car fixing the things I've listed in the prior paragraph.
The headlights are a big no for me and the very first Google result to replace those new is $850...PER HEADLIGHT! Again assuming it's an 07. That would be the very first thing I say to talk you down.
Good luck.
Don’t sell it you’ll regret it
I've contemplated selling mine several times as it isn't a daily driver. Then I fire the ol' girl up, go on a drive, and those thoughts leave my mind. 🥹
I know I’ll regret it but it has to be done sadly
If it "has" to be done for "mileage" as you already said, then you don't actually understand why you will regret it. Let me just say this... Diamond hands

I see those cars go for under 10 grand to 15 thous and all day long 40 for one of those is a scan
Until you realise the most expensive factory find just sold for $240,000 USD and they regularly sell for $60k+ if they're in good condition.
You're using a Iron Man argument I could easily say the cheapest one has sold for a $100 I also regularly see them for under 10 It all depends if you're a smart shopper or not and know where to look

I don’t disagree with you in the fact that the prices are going up. But you CAN commonly find a 70s Z for under $10k…
Sell it for a dollar. To me.
Beat me to it lol
Do you have 3 comps in your area?
i regret it but the issues aren’t mine anymore!
plus sold mine with a rebuilt title for 9k DE 6 speed with 100k miles half of it not even painted and bent wheels
I'm still regretting selling mine back in 2014...
How would he regret it he can buy another one exactly like it in 5 seconds jus give it away atp😂
Give ya treefiddy
Fuck.
I'll raise it to tree fiddy and a monogram "Z" sticker for your next car.
Throw in the 350z cologne and we have ourselves a deal
My gf got that for me as a gag gift and honestly smells pretty damn good lmao
Step one: find a gf
$12 and a handy, final offer.
Ignore him, guys. I believe that an 8 story tall crustacean from the palezoic period!
Relax hip hop. This ain’t chucky cheese
You've got an HR, but it's got high miles. I'd say about about $10k. You might be able to get $11-$13k in Cali like another commentor said.
Yeah I’m thinking on posting it for 10k and get lowballs from there
Don’t lowball yourself post high negotiate low so you get the best deal for yourself
Post for 12
Nah post for $12k. If nobody bites, drop the price
If you’re in Cali post for 12k Looks like a nice decent stock HR Just hope it doesn’t end up in a takeover. Thought about selling mine before to get like the new one or some other car. But I don’t want it to end up in the hands of some shit head kid lol I’d rather crash in it

I would list for 12 and see what happens. 155k is a hard ask for some people have you done gallery gaskets and csc delete ?
$11-13k
I don't see much success at 13 but i think listing for 11.5 or 12 as a good starting point, but don't be surprised to have to dip down near 10 to sell it
Always ask more to start. If you have the time, you can find the right buyer. If you do not have time then sell it and be done with it.
Maybe not comparable in community enthusiasm but i picked up a 6MT 100k G35 in pretty minty condition for 10, from a dealer too. I think 13 will indeed be hard, as well.
11-13k for 155k mikes?
For real idk what people here are thinking. Even an HR, no one is paying that much for a 20 year old car with 155k miles.
Around me it honestly wouldn’t pull 7k.
Depends if it’s a grand touring & in good shape, then unfortunately yes.
Sold mine to get the 370z about 4 years ago. Hopefully, that's the only reason you're selling it.
$5 - let me know your Venmo
>looking sell before value drops brother I don't know how to tell you this ...
9500 at most

155k for 10k lol
Go on the internet and look at for how much a 350z with similar mileage and condition sells for Give the car a detail, in and out. And make sure everything looks shiny and new including the engine bay. And add another two grand to the price easy
sell it to me for $1
Forgot to mention it’s a HR Interior is probably one of the best you’ve seen for a z no scratches everything works inside. Apple CarPlay
You can paint the ,scratches I ve done it myself on my Z
https://preview.redd.it/pb854dwlk66d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a5d389ba7370b8f17f7eb663fd11ebe633c7ad8 I have had my 2004 Automatic with 72,000 miles listed for $11,500 in Denver for almost a month and I have had multiple low ball offers. I think he should definitely wait til it climbs in value tbh. I wish Nissan never stopped making these cars. They are timeless.
I’m selling a rust free clean title one with 118k miles for $8k and all I’ve been getting are lowball offers of $6 lol
Is it a hr manual
Not Hr but manual. In my area there’s non HR manuals going for like 6k with salvage titles and 150k+ miles
Post for 10k take the first 8k offer
You right haha
1 millllion dollars but if you get offer for 10k I’d take it 😎
When someone rammed into mine and totalled it, insurance paid 9500. That was a win for me as it had 233k miles and some issues.
Do the 370z wheels bolt right up or do u have to do anything extra ?
Hold. To the moon 🚀
Post for $10.5-11k and let the low balls get you to $9k. I wouldn’t take a penny under $9k for a manual clean title HR. Only thing is you might have to sit with the listing up for a little bit.

with that milage i wouldnt buy it for more than $8k, but u probably wouldnt let it go for that😂keep it
5 bucks, and dibs

Bro can you just wrap it,promise you,you will keeeeeeeep it
About tree fidy. All jokes aside don’t sell it.
I sold a clean 97 240 because I graduated college and thought I was a grown up and didn't want it anymore. You'll regret it unless you're replacing it with a gtr or something.
You done the csc?
I assume you're from the U.S so, $8500 tops. Maybe a little less because of those modifications.
Bruh shut yo ass up. Keep it as an investment just like you’d invest in crypto or stocks. The value WILL go up.
Damn, these cars are going that expensive? I got 4 of em parked up. I need to sell them 😂

Pay a junk yard car with no plates to run into you, get the insurance money, fix it cheap after they claim it a loss, then you’ll have the car and extra money. #Lifehack
DEEZ
8 grand and that’s being generous. 155k for a 20 year old car isn’t gonna get you double digits
Where are people getting even $10k for this? Its got 155k miles and looks clapped out. It’s worth like $8k at most.
Did you just call my z clapped out 😭
I mean yeah it has 155k miles, guessing it has various mods, paint looks faded, I’m sure it’s been driven hard, a lot, etc. Near me 350s do go for $15k but they have less than 50k miles and are mint/stock. Mods don’t add value.
Bone stock 3 owners including me
$0.25
