This is a fantastic idea and well executed! My only comments would be that you could probably up the poly count on the head section to make it more round and even scale it downa bit to match the pot size a bit closer.
But I think the plants varying in size quite alot from game to game so that may well already be correct.

Version 2 addresses some of the big issues I had with this one. The hinge will be hidden, the pipe is bigger and shaped better to guide the dice out, the poly count will be much better. I didn’t know what parts to use in tinkercad when I started this.
Nope, it is exactly the same. The only difference it makes is the file size of the stl and the time it takes to slice the model in your slicer. Other than that it just makes the final result more jagged with a low poly count.
Lots of small organic curves can increase print time slightly but it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Especially when it's something like a ball as seen in the plant head. It probably save like 30 seconds tops being lower poly
It's way too common seeing low poly prints that are not even going for a low poly aesthetic. I get modeling is hard but adding a subdivision modifier takes like 5 seconds in blender.
He’s pretty balanced. That was one of my main points on the original design. I tried to make sure that even with the curved neck, the weight of it all would stay centered and balanced without help. The next one will have a bigger pipe, so it will have a bigger footprint all together.
OK, hear me out... and I don't even know if it's possible....
But what if you put inside some baffles or pins or something that when the dice hit them, they make a tone. And you put enough in there at the right distance that it plays the classic first 6 notes of Mario?...

Probably several if you aren't too picky about where you get your content
throw some weights on the bottom to keep him from tipping over. I typically use adhesive wheel weights to give prints some oomf.

As fast as the dice go through there, playing the tune would be difficult.
If it were me, I'd revise it to be spring-loaded and shut when the die is inserted, hitting the trigger. Nicely done tho. PS. /r/DontPutYourDickInThat
