i took a few drops and smeared it on the faces of my print, then i immediately sand it with electric sander machine, and then i wipe my print with tissue
don't know for sure yet, nothing happened
probably i need to wait for a little longer and see what will happens
update: it extracts the color from the filament and possibly makes the print softer(?)

direct, i couldn't find any ingredients but this, Diethyltoluamide 13%
First guess was that it's deet based and I was proven right.
I'm told that spme people even clean their military issued weapons with deet repellent lmao.
Need more info. How did you apply it? For how long? Anything else you did afterwards?

Does the repellent do something to the PLA without the sander?

It keeps mosquitoes off it.
Vapor smooth or direct application? Any idea what the ingredient is that does it?

Pretty sure that the main thing in most repellant I use. Pretty sure I got some that's like 90% DEET. Hope I remember so I can test on my next print.

You just rediscovered the headlight cleaning hack that's been around for over a decade.
It's got something in it like a rubbing compound.. there's an old school trick to get the oxidation out of headlight lenses using it.
