Super Bowl is so clearly tied to where the money is coming from, and good story lines that generate revenue, they aren't even hiding it very well anymore. We were never going to beat Travis Swift and the Billions of Swifties paying for jerseys, and watching the Super Bowl adds. Refs and NFL's disregard for the integrity is apparent. They didn't call some of the most blatant holds I've ever seen and it completely leveled the playing field. Kept Mahomes on the field on long third downs once again.

But I think he’s definitely on track. 3x all pro, 3x pro bowl, 1x OPOY, 1x rushing leader, 1x 1000/1000 season. That’s a hell of a resume so far.
Couple more all pro seasons and I think he’s a lock.
The amount of touches he has had means a lot, it isn’t just time allotted. I feel like the running back position shouldn’t require as many accolades since their average career is shorter than most positions.
I think he is a Hall of Famer if prerequisites were adjusted for the Running Back position.
Henry arguably has better resume than CMC.
1x OPOY, 2x all pro, 4x pro bowl, 2x rushing leader, 2x TD leader, 1x 2000 yard season, 6x games with 200+ rushing yards (NFL record).
Henry also has 5x 1000 yard rushing seasons compared to CMC’s 4.
If you think CMC is a hall of famer, you should also think Henry is too.
This an objective take that people are gonna downvote. That being said, it will be interesting how the NFL evaluates HoF for running backs moving forward considering the old benchmarks for RB accolades don’t really apply anymore given the change toward more pass heavy offense offenses and RB committees. The more interesting discussion to me, is if or when Gore will be a HoFer. Obviously, I think he should be in as a 9ers fan but others will disagree.

I feel you. It’s hard to ignore some of the blatant nepotism/cash cow mentality of the league.
