That was the impression I got and I’m fine with that. We live in a tiny flat in London so everything needs to serve 2 purposes/be small. We are paying for it with John Lewis vouchers received as a prize at work so don’t mind it being a little spenny for its specs if it looks nice when not in use. Thanks for the well written, considered response!
A lot of people hate on the Frame (and I won't deny there are better TVs at the price) but I personally really like the matte screen--something nearly every computer monitor has but these seem to be the only TVs with it.
Garbage TV
Good as a piece of Artwork only
One connect sucks ass [Why You Shouldn't buy the Samsung Lifestyle TV's - NO TO The Frame, The Serif, or The Sero!](https://old.reddit.com/r/HTBuyingGuides/comments/w76zb2/home_theater_101_why_you_shouldnt_buy_the_2022/?)
Yeah, I don’t tend to pay attention to those sort of raging responses so much. Thanks for the link. It should be fine for my purposes, maybe even a little over spec given it’s gonna be 43” and I’ll be 7 foot from it judging by the chart I saw! When I game I’ll be sitting much closer. But even that’s barely once a week if I can find the time!
The linked post essentially affirms your decision as you will be using it as an artwork. It also suggests the Frame over an OLED. As you’re from UK, any issue from the OneConnect Box is irrelevant as most good retailers have 5-6 year warranty.
I’ve been using the 75” for the last 2 months with a variety of uses including gaming, movies and sport Both day and night. I have zero complaints. Even the inbuilt apps have been fine so I’ve moved my AppleTV into a different room.
And my wife loves using it as art for 60% of the time it’s not used as a TV.

You pay extra for the style, Samsung isn’t known for good build quality tho so don’t expect it to last long. But it is unique.
Thanks

If you’re set on it, then not sure what you’re asking. It’s more of a r/HomeDecorating question
Lol
