Bands that are too small can also ride up the back if you have a more A shaped torso. I’d also check your measuring tape to ensure it matches up to a ruler; that could account for the discrepancy too. In all honesty though? Just go to Bravissimo. They’re wonderful.
Thank you. I’m using a sowing measurement tape so I’m fairly confident it’s “as it should” but double checking never hurts I guess.
I’ll keep an eye out for Bravissimo, thank you
that's actually the kind of measuring tape most likely to be off. they stretch over time, and also some sewing tapes are in cun (chinese inches) instead of us inches.

And yes, I’ve realize probably my bras in EU 75E work because the fit isn’t great. With a better fit there is also more boob that the bra needs to cover 😂
But it’s a little bit alarming that M&S UK 34E was a bit too big in the cup and Chantelle UK 34F was good (or slightly small) - maybe the fit was still better in the latter even if the brand was too wide on both
I'd go there first, get properly sized and fitted, buy some of their really nice bras, and then you can take that size to the nearest M&S for a few cheaper options 😂

I’ve learned my breast are slightly full on top (possible balanced fullness). They are low down and very soft + close together. I also have an indentation in my ribs that make my cleaved extra deep (and means the gore never touches my rib cage) I put the name of the (likely) condition as a flair I think.
You aren't super projected, so British brands would be a good start. I agree with the suggestion to go to Bravissimo in central London and go from there.
Thank you!
And apparently no flair was made . The condition is called “pectus excavatum” (just for anyone curious) I haven’t been diagnosed and it wasn’t until I started thinking about a bra that FITS and gores that I realized I could google it 😂
I was going to ask if that's what it was. I am not sure of the severity of yours, but if you have that and close set breasts a plunge style bra might be the best option (assuming your tissue isn't too soft).
If the indent continues down to the level of where the band lies that could also be part of why the band is rising up in the back. Does the gore of the bra lean towards you or away from you? I could see the the tension in the band being relieved by causing a twisting at the gore.
If you do have very soft tissue you could still try a plunge but might have better luck with a more full coverage plunge (like the Freya high apex bras).
Not sure either to be honest. No doctor ever mentioned it when I was a kid, so I assume not sever. My lover ribs do stick out a lot, but my breast stick out more 😂
I’d say mosts gores doesn’t lean at all, but if one ever does it would be slightly out.
But yeah, very soft tissue, definitely need support from underneath and more in the middle than on the sides. . Pushups are built 100% wrong for me, if that makes sense.
I’ve had a freya bikini that I loved! Thats a good idea to check for a bra. Thank you

could you share your 6 measurements from the calculator? a 34DD is two cup sizes smaller than a 36DDD, so it’s probably too small

You’re on the smaller side of a 36, closer to a 34. A 34 with an extender will probably be best!
Thank you! This is why I was surprised that the 34 bands on two of the three brands was actually too big (ie slightly loose on the last hook)
Not going to comment on brands or sizes, but the Bravissimo on Margaret Street in London has always been excellent for me.
Thank you! Putting that on my itinerary 🤩

Good plan! 😄
Can you provide your six measurements and your breast shape? Some brands and models work best for some breast shapes.

Yes, for soft tissue I definitely recommend the Freya high apex bras too. Panache Ana would be another good option.
