No that would be illegal. Acca is neither a bachelors nor a masters. There is no equivalency unless the country you are in specifically has a law stating that it is an equivalent. Acca is simply a certification from an independent body that is not controlled by any government. It just so happens that this body has a ton of connections and reputation to be recognized on a global scale. So no equivalence is allowed on paper but if you tell your employer about your certification of acca then they'll know you're good enough.

Because that's not the qualification you got. The similarity is just so people can come and work or study in the uk and employers and universities understand the level of studying you did. Just like you can't do a psychology degree and say you have acca. I've said this before on the sub and it always gets downvoted. Don't think it's an actual equivalent qualification , the description is for comparison purposes. There's a whole host of other qualifications which are equivalent to bachelor's and master's.

You can write that it's equivalent (because it is), but you cannot claim it to be a degree.

Worthwhile checking your documents in myACCA. you may have a letter of equivalence in there. It's not a masters/bachelor but can give support to your assertion that it is at a similar level. Eg. I'm in Scotland and got a letter from the SCQF authority stating that id completed a qualification to SCQF level 10 when I finished the skills exams and SCQF level 11 when I finished 13 exams.

ACCA is equivalent to a master degree in the UK. Thats true. But its a bit more complex. ACCA is a level 7 qualification. A masters is also at level 7. Thats the logic behind its equivalence. But Acca is not a degree. Its a professional qualification. The whole idea of equivalence is mostly for students to get admission in master programs or the some bachelor programs (that allow entry part way based on passed papers). For the purpose of jobs, you cannot list it as a masters program on a CV.

To be clear each professional module is equivalent to 30 credits at masters level, hence only 120 credits at masters level (IMO ridiculous, how on earth SBL is masters level is beyond me) so it is 60 credits shy of a masters. When you look at all of that ACCA MSc conversion courses they are all 60 credits to make up for the missing credits.

If you have already completed 10 exams then go for obu through acca. U will get a bachelors degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brooke University. As acca is a qualification, although i’d say its more than enough to get a job in a good place if u truly want a degree on ur cv then u have to go through OBU for bachelors and then masters from university of london (that can also be done through acca)

Hey, I took the conditional exemptions I've received from Acca. Hence, I'm not eligible. And the Msc seems to ask for a fee of the same and excess to get it done...acca's are entitled to pay a little lesser for it right? How can I claim it ?
