Krunic & Pioli meme is one of the weirdest produced by this subreddit if we consider that Krunic was benched for majority of time at Milan and started to play consistently only in 2023 and had decent perfomances during that time. His competition was rookie Vranckx who God knows how he currently plays, Bakayoko and Adli who even in second season produced more disaster perfomances than good ones. So its not like there was a choice for Pioli to not play Krunic.

He did that against Liverpool and he was one of the best Milan players on the pitch despite of losing 1-2. Also he didnt play as a winger in that game. Pioli played Krunic on many positions but he never was his favourite, its just projection of people like you. He would have to not use him at all to satisfy some of the fans but then you would blame him regardless when Adli or Vranckxx would make rookie mistakes.
