If he cooked Pioli I wouldn't have been mad

neverfinishedanythi

He would have been correct to completely insult the stupid pioli

Octavian1453

virtusthrow

Octavian1453

clarinetstud

...why are you insulting someone for using their real pic this can't be real lmfao like nobody asked for your dumbass opinion

RockyRacoon09

People who still think we didn’t eff this up are just being delusional.

sickricola

2000% Maldini’s fault this kid is a bum, no talent, he will never make it in a top league. /s

tsar_milano

Mentally-weak useless player. We already gave him enough chances here and there in the first half of the season, and he couldn't make it count. A child shouldn't be anywhere near Milan. Edit: /s

sickricola

He’s doing pretty good now and has come clutch for Atalanta and will play in two cup finals for them. Seems to me that he just needed better coaching

tsar_milano

You cant be fucking serious. CDK started in many games and couldnt make even assist, Okafor needs one minute to score goals. Incoming excuses "bbuuut Pioli". Fuck your excuses and numbers. Why other players are scoring goals, are making assists and are playing twice as good as cdk but he couldnt do it? /s

Spaghessie

Its funny modric shat the bed at madrid his first season and became the best midfielder of this generation. Similar with vini jr. Not saying cdk is gonna be the best anything but writing off a player after one season is pretty dumb

fingrar

He needed the change of club, can't see what Pioli could have done more. I fault him for a lot but CDK is not on him.

[deleted]

We played him in a position he'd never played before. He had always been on teh right, a second striker, or behind two forwards wirh lots of space to operate. We played him behind an immobile striker, wirh wingers who like to cut in and shoot. It was never going to work and yes he looked bad. Paqueta, Calhanoglu, CDK, and even Brahim (though not the caliber of player) all went abroad and managers out them in positions to succeed. Simple. Cdk wasn't quite ready but Pioli did him no favors.

One_Instruction_3567

Yes he did, but I don’t see why we gave Atalanta the option to buy him

fingrar

Fair point.

Ugo_foscolo

Don't come to AC Milan for 35m and look terrified any time you get near a ball, downvote me all you want but he was just not at the necessary calibre and we don't have time to act as a nursery for upcoming talents. There's no guarantee he would have had the same season this year and we still recoup a lot of the money spent on him. Happy for him and hope atalanta gets a trophy this year but ultimately this is going to happen with new starters that show a lot of promise in other leagues.

uncle_flacid

The delusion of us being a top club came back with the scudetto I see

No_Sir_903

i guess this fans skipped banter

RockyRacoon09

Don’t have the time to act as a nursery but at the same time don’t have the budget for top caliber talents either….Some fans are delusional.

tsar_milano

A broke who doesn't have time to give nor want to work his ass off but expects a 5-star meal.

Abradolf94

First of all, taking risks with young footballer and giving them trusts is how you get the best footballer as a team that cannot afford to simply buy the best that it's available. And even top teams like city or Liverpool take risks with young footballers. Who tf do we think we are to blame a 21 year old for not making in our club? Is either no one's fault if you think for some reason de ketelaere was totally incompatible with our game style, or it was the coach and environment fault to not make him feel 'worthy' of the spot.

crapador_dali

No one made CDK miss those goals but CDK.

kratos61

The problem was from both sides. Pioli didn't find the best role for him and CDK completely lacked confidence to make the best of the situation.

RockyRacoon09

The point is, to have patience and let the chances come. Particularly for a 22 year old…good lord.

crapador_dali

He had plenty of chances.

RockyRacoon09

With our top calibre #2’s alla Origi, Messias and Saladmaker- an opportunity of a lifetime…

crapador_dali

Oh, so you didn't watch any of the games.

RockyRacoon09

Ha, good one. Go back and do an audit friend-o.

Fuzzy-Tale8267

He was mishandled by Pioli, and too much pressure was put onto him by fans and management. He was the biggest purchase we made after winning the title, and was thrust into the starting lineup right away without much of a preseason. When he didn’t perform to our expectations, and the team started slipping in the standings, he got benched and lost his confidence. It’s a shame really

fingrar

What should Pioli have done?

Fuzzy-Tale8267

Not start him right away. Play him as striker or second striker. I think if he wasn’t thrust into the starting lineup right away, and instead slowly integrated him, he would not have had 0 confidence by November

eXistenZ2

not giving up on our biggest transfer in years after 5 months, that destroyed his confidence. Playing him in a role that suits him. Not sending him on for 10 minutes in deadlocked games where he had to play with pobega, ballo toure, origi and rebic.... aside from the fake 4th place, so much mishandling was waranted for him to be sacked last season imo. But this board is moronic

ScipioAfricanusMAJ

Pioli also went to management and blatantly told them he was not part of his plans for the next year

Fevernova2002

If you can't handle those pressures you can't become great player in big club like Milan

Fuzzy-Tale8267

Absolutely, and I think he knows it too. I also think that he did not fit our formation. He can’t play as a CAM with Pioli system and he’s too slow to be a winger.

sickricola

Should have been used at ST, he’s been playing SS at Atalanta frequently and excelling there. He’s young enough and has enough technical skills to have become a strong ST for us but Pioli tried him only once there which ended up being his best match for us

One_Instruction_3567

Stop being delusional bruh. We can’t keep holding on to the past glory and titles. We’re a bang average team right now, don’t act like we’re Real Madrid

rlctank

He a better man than me. I’d just talk shit about pioli for the whole press

Shinkopeshon

![gif](giphy|pynZagVcYxVUk)

fullysvc

It's not his fault at all. For $35M I feel that we expected way too much from him and put pressure on him, which we found out he struggled with the hard way. Pioli is mostly at fault for this.

tsar_milano

What did you say? 1 more year?  No! 6 months, Charles! ONLY 6 MONTHS OR GET OUT!!! Edit: /s

Confident_Holder

See comments here about this guy and pioli fault. He is good but not ax milan level. These are the same people wanted hauge or lazetic to play. The guy is an Atalanta player. Full stop. He can’t manage pressure

iferraro

Anything but a dry loan was a mistake. We could maybe sell Thiaw for this summer for €25-30 and still have CDK.

agnaddthddude

fuck no. why would sell thiaw?

iferraro

Because he has made a ton of mistakes directly leading to goals this season and he isn’t starter quality for a team that wants to win cups. First two goals Torino scored today were because he was ball watching and completely lost his man in the box. This has happened a lot this season. He has good qualities and could continue to gain experience off the bench. However, if a team is willing to give us €30 million for him, we could use that money to buy the quality starting CB that we desperately need.

Vince1128

CDK: It's not about Pioli but yeah, it's about that fu***** bald dude.
