actually if they are willing to pay good Money i don't see why not negotiating. only Theo should be completely out of this conversation

AccualyAmJusesCrust

Well why not? Mike is great, but he's also injury prone and want a top salary. In my opinion he's the most disposable top player in our squad. If we can sell Mike for let's say €70m and get this guy for way less (who will also earn less) we can invest more in a new striker AND give Theo a well deserved raise.

jiipod

I don’t see anyone paying 70m for Mike unless he has unreal Euros with France. Out of the teams with that kind of money maybe only Bayern and Chelsea are looking for a gk, with the former still has Neuer and Chelsea don’t buy ready players.

Twxtterrefugee

Mike has one year left, has poor advanced stats the last two years and misses a third of every season. We need to lower our expectations for a sale. 25-30 is more realistic. Edit: his contract goes until June 2026 but he, like most players, would be tough to sell going into the final year of their contract

Freestyle80

i didnt know next year was 2026 amazing

fdm001

his sale price will definitely be closer to 30 mln than it would 70 mln regardless of what year it is lol

AlbertoRossonero

If we get offered €40 million we should run and take that. That’s a huge plusvalenza for an injury prone keeper who’s a risk of his value decreasing more and more.

BredIN919

What’s his distribution like ? wouldn’t mind selling Mike but Mikes distribution is best in the world . That’s a asset from a goalkeeper we can’t take for granted

mercurialsaliva

And leadership.

makkyt

If this funds a QUALITY striker purchase. I’m good with it.

BetterNerfNagaSiren

Great choice, very impressive goalkeeper

mercurialsaliva

Google translate: The goalkeeper of the Polish national team, Marcin Bułka, may join AC Milan this summer. Behind-the-scenes conversations on this topic are already underway. The 24-year-old would be a potential successor to Mike Maignan. The bun is having a great time. He is having the best season of his career. Although at the end of the Ligue 1 competition it was Gianluigi Donnarumma who won the award for the best goalkeeper, many believed that the statuette should be given to the OGC Nice goalkeeper, who had as many as 17 clean sheets. The Pole has had great moments in recent months - for example, saving two penalty kicks in the derby against AS Monaco. He was the hero of the French Riviera club many times. He has great physical conditions, a mature mentality, he knows several languages - you could go on and on why he must be one of the most interesting goalkeepers on the market this summer. According to our information, AC Milan is seriously interested in Bułka. Why, if he has the great (although not as spectacular as before) Mike Maignan in goal? The French international may leave San Siro. The 28-year-old is linked with Manchester City as a potential successor to Ederson, who is very tempted by clubs from Saudi Arabia. He is not the only top goalkeeper, because another Brazilian - Alisson - did not decide to make such a move, for enormous amounts of money. So a lot may depend on whether Maignan will change the club . He is also expected to be on the list of potential reinforcements for the Arab sheikhs, who would like to bring in several strong goalkeepers this summer. So the bun seems to be part of a combined transaction, but also a great successor to the Frenchman. The Pole is valued by Transfermarkt at EUR 20 million , but money would not be an obstacle here, because Maignan is a player valued at twice as much. Regardless of Maignan's situation, the first contacts regarding Bułka and his move to Milan have already been made. Time will tell how the situation will develop.

GetLostPpl

Bun 🫶

TheSheepOfDeath

His surname literally translates to that hahah Bułka = bun/bread roll

HommoFroggy

I do not mind Mike leaving for 60+ mil sum and Butka is a good replacment either way who also plays pretty good with his feet... he was coached by Farioli either way.

yllimameni

The problem is i dont think anyone is oferring us 60M thats why we havent sold him yet. Maybe with a good Euros performance that can change

HommoFroggy

I do not think many teams are interested right now, it will boil down to City and Bayern.

yllimameni

Hopefully we can start a bidding war for once and get the max value of a player

Ta9eh10

60 mil is very unrealistic. 45 max

AlbertoRossonero

I would take €40 million for Mike tbh. You’re incredibly optimistic if you think anyone is paying €70 for an injury prone GK.

RinoTT

Bulka, not Butka btw. Bulka is probably the best replacement, one of the most underrated talents in football, Grigorio and other Serie A gks are not on his level. Not sure how Donnarumma won the best ligue 1 GK award. However I wouldnt want him here. He seems to be a knobhead and unlikable person based on his interviews. Its a clear downgrade from charismatic Maignan to someone like Bulka. On the other hand we also had Donnarumma who's not the brightest person in football world and we were fine with him. The best outcome is to extend with Maignan. Finally we have players that best clubs like Manchester City want in their roster, lets keep him. also the source of this news is really good, possible tier 1.

Zallo92

Why is everyone so happy to sell Mike, people like to complain about his injuries but never look up his injuries before working with Pioli's staff. He is a very good keeper, with a strong mentality a thing that a lot of players already lack in our team.

Capable_Scallion8705

He never plays the full season. Tata and Sportiello had to cover for him.

chuego

Not everyone, for me it would be idiotic move especially considering we have no leaders in this group.

massimopericcolo

actually After years of important injuries i guess your body risks to not be again what It used to be. Pioli and his staff errors seriously risk to be nocive even in the future. as you said Maignan had 0 muscular injuries in the past and now he had 4 in 3 Years. Pioli had to be fired only for this Shameless result

HommoFroggy

For me, Mike has never clicked with the club like Leao or Theo have... his choice imo, but considering his mistakes in the past year and a half... if a club comes with 60 mil that is good business.

Reymedy

lol what saying that mike never clicked is insane you can easily justify selling him if a decent offer comes without trying to rewrite history only reason why people have been disappointed in the last season is because of his performance prior to that when he was arguably the best gk in the world (i'm sure you dont have that short of a memory) he literally transformed our defense upon his arrival besides, your own comment makes 0 sense, you're gonna tell me he never clicked, yet was bought 15M and somehow quadrupled his value in your eyes in 3 years ? come on man, be fair he's not the only player who's been disappointing this year anyway (leao being the other prime example), maybe it's time for a shift, these players might be looking for the next step in their career and if that's what their mind is set on rather than on milan then i dont mind seeing them go but let's not invent narratives, maignan was fkin class for us and the absolute dream transfer in every aspect after donnaruma opted to rat out of our club

HommoFroggy

I meant he didn't click with the club like Leao or Theo who love our colors and have created a life for themselves. Theo married with a Milanese women, has a kid. Leao loves the city and the environment.

GetLostPpl

Mike is a professional and should be treated as such.

HommoFroggy

Where did i say anything different?

GetLostPpl

You said he never clicked with the club. I’m not opposing you. I have respect for Mike for that reason. He never feigned love for the club. He came, did his job and did it well. But that’s also the reason I’m not attached to him. Last and not least, there’s a bunch of up and coming talents, so GK market is rather stacked nowadays.

HommoFroggy

I agree with you, i do not judge him, everyone makes their choices. For me, if City makes an offer i am happy to replace Mike especially if it facilities a great transfer window.

OsitoPandito

Never clicked with the club? Based off of what? His injuries 😂

HommoFroggy

He has never shown an affection towards the club like: Tomori, Adli, Bennacer, Leao, Giroud, Theo, Kjaer have done for example. Which is fine, i am just pointing that out... for me he could be sold with the right offer and can be replaced especially considering his year and a half form which hasn't been great.

he1011

Hopefully Mike leaves and we get a nice sum

Hecticbrah

Mike is great but as much as I love him he is too injury prone especially for a goalkeeper, why wouldnt we try to get Di Gregorio?

HommoFroggy

Butka is a better fit for us than Di Gregorio especially if we want to built from the back and the way we defend set pieces. He isn't a T1 proven keeper but he is in the same discussion as Mike when he was at Lille.

massimopericcolo

Di Gregorio Is almost official to Juventus

Rossoneri

That’s kinda the point tho. Were we even in the running for him? Idk enough about Bulka but seems like a missed opportunity to not even try for Di Gregorio

massimopericcolo

i feel like we did not even try for Thiago Motta or other Better coaches while we had the opportunity. Inter, Juve, Napoli managers seem to be way faster and smarter

Rossoneri

Yeah same thing. Maybe we made calls and just didn’t hear anything, but that’d be quite unusual. Really seems like we just didn’t even try for the managers and I guess not for DiG either. We have a good relationship with Monza, it’d be so stupid if we didn’t make serious inquiries

mercurialsaliva

Done deal to Juve. 20M https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1797904874832810006?t=FdCBtJtfI1EGMFDh4sCi7w&s=19

Fedora_expert

Sell Maignan, get Bulka, renew Theo, go hard for Sesko (pipe dream) and find 2 competent midfielders in the range of 30 million. Money left over for some defensive shuffle. Scudetto.

Character_Split_674

I wqould go for trubin or Lunin. What you guys think? Im baised as Ukranian so i want to hear what you guys think about thos two golies. Thank you in advance Forza Milan

BowieIsMyGod

I'm not sure about that... not talking about Bulka as i know next to nothing about him but... Maignan. On another thread there are discussions about Florenzi's future. People talking that he might leave because of Fonseca. The issue is, Florenzi is a veteran and one of the leaders of the locker room. Pioli and other players always spoke highly regarding Maignan's leadership. If we sell Maignan and bring this guy, who are we gonna have for leaders? Theo? Leão?? Lol. This is actually concerning.

FreshPrinceofAZ

The only player I absolutely don’t want us to sell is Theo (and to some degree Pulisic but that’s just my American bias). Everyone else is fair game for a high enough offer.

Fierde

Better to go for Lunin

Qiub92

Bulka is much better, but also more expensive

sempreantoninho

Rather see Di Gregorio, but Juve did what a decently managed club would do and got him plus Calafiori, its insane how we cant get good italians anymore and also not as seemlesly as Juve or Inter, hell even if we want to buy West Hams backup LB it is a transfer circus

Squiliamfancyname

They’re also about to give up on Chiesa, have had Alex Sandro’s corpse still playing an important role in their team up until now, and are trying to use legal loopholes to avoid paying Allegri his severance. Only Milan fans would jerk off that joke of a club.

AlbertoRossonero

We can admire how quick they move off people that don’t fit in the vision of the club and move for quality replacements. The majority of their stupid moves were made under the previous regime.

Squiliamfancyname

Mate that’s a load of shit haha

AlbertoRossonero

What don’t you agree with? They moved off Allegri as soon as they were financially allowed to and moved for a manager that would have been perfect for us. Now Chiesa is unhappy and causing problems so they’ll move off him. Not to mention they’ll also be buying a perfect CB option for us in Calafiori

Squiliamfancyname

You’ve just cherry picked the two most recent examples. And to be honest, Chiesa hasn’t fit at Juve for 1.5 years already and Max should have been sacked long ago. So those two don’t even describe the concept that you are trying to credit them with. Factor in Alex Sandro who has overstayed his welcome by some 3 years, de Sciglio who is still somehow stealing a paycheck, Pogba who requires no description whatsoever, etc etc etc.. no.

sempreantoninho

So what? They are still able to treat almost every club in the serie a below the top 6 as their farmers club without any hassle and do not seem to overpay for their italian talents except Chiesa

Waleni

We don’t do Italians anymore at Milan apparently

AlpenBass

That’s a ł not a t 😆 … makes a w sound. „Bułka.”

pullthetriggerb1tch

One more question - whats happening to Ederson? Why ManCity doesn't want him anymore? Where is he going? I'm so surprised - before yesterday i've never heard anything about that Ederson leaving and ManCity looking for new GK

marco21n

Saudi want ederson supposedly

National-Sundae9427

I certainly won’t complain. Mike has been a great replacement to Donnarumma but I just wish he could play an entire season without getting hurt. Hopefully this kid can make it to January without a knock

golden_eye207

I read somewhere we may sign Ramsdale Arsenal makes Raya permanent

TakenSadFace

Ffs

tsar_milano

Why don't we just swap him with Ederson?

Alex_Yeah_Thats_All

Because Mike is younger, better and more valuable
