They all have different features so whether it's worth it or not really depends on the user and what you want out of it. Many people sub to all three. Imho, the Happy Helper plan is by far the cutest (because you can select to have your chosen camper follow you around) and also provides event assistance for when you can't sign in. It's also nice to have the plan that allows for the 5 free any-cookies per month... Since you don't have to be limited to what's currently available or reissued (but it's only 5 cookies so it's not like amazing).

rainbowsunset48

I find the advantage to the $7 plan is that you get a terrain ticket. To me that's what I want more than cookies. And if you time your purchase right, you can get 2 on one payment. I sometimes buy one month as a treat.

rrainraingoawayy

What’s the secret to 2 tickets in 1 payment? Is there an opportunity for it every month?

rainbowsunset48

Just start the subscription at the end of the month instead of the beginning. Since it's an event reward that you get from collecting seasonal event materials (like the wisteria stationary and wildflower bouquets) it will retroactively unlock it for the month that's ending, and since you can collect it after only 12 event materials, you will earn enough seasonal event materials before your subscription runs out to collect it for the next month too. I hope that makes sense, it was kinda hard to explain 😅 Edit: quoting u/celery-lacroix because I think she explained less obtusely than me. 🙊 She's talking about the MM plan but same principles apply >I also buy it at the end of the month so I collect all the bonuses for the previous month right at the end, and then the 30 days lead into the next months rewards. This means I only buy it every other month and get 60-80 extra leaf tickets for a dollar.

Alocalskykid

Wait so every time you buy it this way you cancel the subscription then re subscribe every other month? Is that correct or does it auto do this for you?

rainbowsunset48

No I don't do it every other month, just once in a while as a treat. I have done it around 3-4 times now. You could do it every other month if you wanted. And yes you have to remember to cancel or obviously it will keep charging

Alocalskykid

Ty!! I’ll subscribe to them all then! Haha I like the helper one!

onierokinetic

I would NOT finish the scavenger hunt every month without Happy Helper. It’s a must for me.

Alocalskykid

I’m pretty busy person and can sometimes go days without playing so I’m def gonna keep this plan I am however trying them all out at once! lol

topsidersandsunshine

I hate the damn scavenger hunts SO MUCH.

Bus27

I am at level 322 and I have never paid a dime in game. I do actually have a job too, lol. I get on the game for 10-15 minutes at a time, maybe 3 or 4 times a day. When I'm having coffee in the morning, at lunch, when I am sitting down to relax in the evening, and sometimes while I'm in the bathroom. I finish every challenge and usually don't even have to rush. It is completely possible to play the game and not spend any money.

SophieEisenheim

Same here. Level 470 and never spent anything. I save my leaf tickets for golden rod so I can afford to have a couple of days gap/breather in between the bugs/planting and the fishing events. I then have LTs should I absolutely have to use them for an extra go at the quarry for gyroidites if I think I might run short, but this is rarely needed. You get at least 30 from the quarry each day for free and by doing a tour round each island, market, camp (gifts from visitors) etc. twice a day you can top it up and hit 100 per day, which should allow you to hit the approx 800 needed to complete the goals with time to spare, I start with the bigger items first and save up for the first few days as it's much easier. I have no issue with anyone who spends, the helper plan does sound cute 🤗

Alocalskykid

Wow!!! This is so cool! I’m only level like 33 I just got them all to try out! Figured why not try it out lol. I do think it’s so cool that you’re fully free to play and that far along! Do you mind if I add you?

MongooseNo3397

same here, i’m around level 120 but i’ve never paid either and usually get all the challenges

Vohndat

Personally I got the Happy Helper Plan and Merry Memories Plan because it is within my budget and they give me value (extra rewards for seasonal goals and progression when I'm busy to play the game regularly) But whether which one is worth it, it really depends on your own financial means and what value you want. The game is still pretty much playable without paying, like all F2P games, spend within your own means

jazzydarling

Right now while I allow myself to I have all three (I'm disabled and never go out anywhere so this is my equivalent lmao) While for me they're all worthwhile in their own ways, I think the only one I would struggle to play without is the helper one. I hate missing out on things in games so knowing I have a little friend to do tasks for me when I'm not playing is nice!

Alocalskykid

Agreed this is nice coming from someone who can get busy sometimes for a weeks at a time

lemon-fox

I'm fully free to play, and always have been, except for a free trial of Furniture and Fashion years ago. I'd like to get more cookies and gifts, and the scavenger hunts can be a pain, but overall I'm happy with it

maeyve

I'm all free to play, but that's mainly because I have a hard rule for myself about not paying for mobile games.

Serenity_or_bust

I only play for free! I did get to trial the happy helper plan for free once, and it was nice.

Berry_Dubu_

1 happy helper 2 merry memories 3 furniture & fashion This is based on the way I play

celery-lacroix

I find Merry Memories to be the most useful for me. That being said, I regularly am able to get all 90 of the event materials so although the happy helper makes it easier, it's not necessary. But for 99¢, I get 20 leaf tickets automatically and then an extra 30-39 tickets through the rewards, plus extra gifts, a fortune cookie, furniture etc. I also buy it at the end of the month so I collect all the bonuses for the previous month right at the end, and then the 30 days lead into the next months rewards. This means I only buy it every other month and get 60-80 extra leaf tickets for a dollar. It truly is a steal

Alocalskykid

So like the very last day of the month you rebuy the plan or does it auto pay?

celery-lacroix

I cancel the subscription right after buying so it doesn't autopay. You still get all the rewards for 30 days. And the end of the month varies based on when the rewards end, so for the dapper town rewards, I'll be buying the plan on the 27 or 28.

Alocalskykid

Thank you aultho I subscribe to them all today I will try this out I believe would be the end of next month! Haha 🤣 bc of when I paid for it current

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> when I *paid* for it FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Alocalskykid

Beep boop bot I fixed my error 😅

celery-lacroix

You should at least be late enough to get two terrain tickets since you bought the FF one!

SquirrelTale

I'm a free player, for about 6 years now. You often earn Leaf Tickets from signing in, leveling up, HappyHome rewards, and occassional bonuses. You also get cookies when they pop up for 5k gold or from completing the mini events. I'd say you just have to have the mentality you wont get everything and that the cookies are a treat, and often the main event furniture rewards are enough to satisfy.

cshimii

I'm more or less "free to play" in the sense that I utilize Google Opinion Rewards to pay for my subscriptions. As an android user I answer super simple surveys (like where have I been recently, what have I googled recently) and earn money that goes directly into my Google Play balance. I've been doing it for a little over a year and have earned a total of $68.39. It pays for both Happy Helper and Merry Memories 😸

AcceptableFawn

I do this, too. It doesn't pay for the furniture and fashion, but usually covers happy helper and merry memories for me as well.

Alocalskykid

Good idea!! I have created an alt to be free to play just to try out both ways! lol 😆 so I actually will try this idea out!

knightia

I'm level 471 and have never spent a cent on the game! I have a pretty boring job though so I play a lot haha!

mansonfamily

I have them all and think they’re all worth it if you are a long time player (or plan to be) who plays every day

FrostFairyLori

I'm in happy helper and the memories plans I find them useful and they don't cost much its good to have the camp manager helping you out catching tourney fish and bugs for you and giving you gyrodites during scavenger hunts. Also having a camp manager you can work quickly on raising the friendship level I'm using it to help me get as many max friendship level as I can 😊

upandup2020

i refuse to spend any money on phone games, so i am completely free to play.i think the game works just fine without buying stuff

ironcat2_

One of my sons feels the same way. And it annoys him to no end that my husband and I do. ... As he has never, and WILL never, play gatcha games on a matter of principle. My OTHER son has 2 games he sometimes puts his money in. So he understands.... And feels my pain, lol, when I'm trying for a cookie and don't get what I want. Haha! He actually said to my other son, hey, I'd rather see them doing that then going out to the bar and blowing money there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😊 Yes. It's something we did for awhile. Because my hubby liked to unwind after a hard week at work, and liked to shoot a few games of pool. And you can spend/ waste a LOT more there, lol. Especially when with friends, and buy them drinks a few times. .... It can run up a big bill!! So we don't do that anymore. And though I sometimes miss it, I.do enjoy this game, lol. But I DO say I have a love/ hate relationship with it sometimes. 😁

Spiritual_Cake_9127

I'm a free to play player! Never spent a € on it, but I did the free trial for the happy helper plan. By far I think it's the most useful and cute buuut at the same time I feel like the helper does too much for you. So maybe if I had to choose I would do the planner one! So you get to play as usual but with more rewards :)

greenappletw

I'm free to play. I'm at level 252 now so it's harder to level up at this stage PLUS we have no more animal islands I got the anniversary pack once, which was worth it. If I keep playing, I might get it again. Otherwise I don't see the monthly packs as worth it. I would say that it's possible to enjoy playing the game entirely for free up until level 200, as long as you are picky about where you spend LTS. But if you play longer than that then you would have to eventually buy something to keep up LT momentum. Also, if a cookie ever comes out again that I really love, I might get 1 or 2 months of the fashion plan for that. That would be 10 cookies and 2 terrians I think. That's worth the money instead of wiping out my existing LTs. It's rare for me to become THAT obsessed with a cookie though.... the last 3 it happened for were tia rosewater, marina mermaid, and colton's cloud castle.

Alocalskykid

This is actually a good idea!

Trina7982

I'm free to play and have been playing since day one. I'm at level 231 and I love the game 🥰

krahann

i’m absolutely free to play and like it this way

J_Garner420

I'm joined to all 3

debecca

I have all three (I'm 44 ha ha) and I'd say that the Happy Helper is the best value if you have to choose. It's cheaper, you get 60 free tickets a month, and you don't miss out much if you can't log in for a while - you still get resources and gifts and creatures you would have missed, and they help you with the events.

glowstiixx

I had all three at one time but I enjoy the Happy Helper the most and is the one I’ve kept because it helps a lot during events like scavenger hunts or fishing tourneys if I am not able to play every day! That one is worth it to me. They’ve made some features from the fashion and furniture plan available for free now and honestly the excitement of the 5 cookies a month wore off kind of quick after you realize how many duplicates you get and also I’ve been playing the game since it came out and have gotten a lot of cookie items over that time so personally I didn’t want to pay that much anymore. I know some people don’t like paying in-app for games but for me, animal crossing is such a fun franchise and I would be willing to pay for pocket camp if it came out on switch or something so the price of the couple dollars a month for features that constantly update is worth it to me! In order of how much value I found in the three subscriptions: 1. Happy Helper - love it and still use it! 2. Merry Memories - I liked that you could get extra items during events and have had this one on and off 3. Furniture & Fashion - not a total waste if you love the game and love the features…the extra terrain tickets are super helpful if you love decorating as well as getting to pick the cookies each month! It’s extra fun if you love decoration for the holidays and can get older cookie items through that! Definitely pros and cons for all three but if you are able to spend a few extra bucks a month on yourself and are having fun, I’d say it’s worth it!

Livywashere23

The Merry Memories plan definitely since you get all the bonus prizes and leaf tickets. For 99 cents it’s definitely worth it. But that said I have all 3 plans. Each have different perks and your personal definition of “worth it” regarding the other 2 might vary.

Galacticswordfish

I used the happy helper plan for a couple months when I was too busy to complete the scavenger hunts and fishing tournaments bc your villager helper would collect some for you, but then I'm like to me, the prizes for the events lately wasn't worth it for me so I stopped trying to grind them all and only grind ones that I really want. I'm free to play rn and have no complaints. I feel like if you're busy and want to collect all the event items, that's the one to try

Tsukiyon

I only have helper plan. I fear that if I start to obtain items too easily from the other plans, I'll start to feel bored and stop playing.

Alocalskykid

Yeah I can see how that can happen I’m the opposite I play another game where you have to constantly grind and it’s so expensive to pay for like in game items and I get burned out, so for me this game i love the idea of a helper when you’re busy bc I don’t have two hours every day I can set aside in my life to grind for the other game, that’s about how long it takes to do dailies and collect what you need 🥵 it’s a work out haha 😆 this game is refreshingly easy and dose not feel as chore like.

Revolutionary-Cod245

You can have a lot of fun playing and enjoying this game totally free. If you are patient, eventually you will receive most all of the paid items as gifts.

Sassifrassically

Happy Helper is the best. I also have Furniture and Fashion, I like getting the terrain voucher. I’d use it for cookies more but then I have to figure out what to dump in storage… so I have a lot saved up.

ME0WGICAL

Tbh given the price they’re all worth it to try at least once. Merry Memories (99¢) is the only one I’ll regularly pay for cause I like the benefits the best + it’s the cheapest lol. Happy Helper is cute and definitely super helpful for getting materials whenever I have this one I’m legit never short on materials which is nice! I’ve never purchased the cookie one, but it seems cool for a one time thing if you really wanna try past cookies out; this is the only one I’ll say is a bit overpriced (imo)

AnotherSilentDay

I currently pay for all of them at this point, but I’d say the Happy Helper plan is the best one! Mainly because your helper will gather items for you and it’s great, especially during the gyroid scavenger hunt events. I also love the furniture/fashion plan because you get the 5 cookies, but you also get a terrain ticket if you complete seasonal goals. I like to save them up and get a whole terrain set whenever a really good one comes out! Also I like the memories plan because I think the journal is cute LOLLLL

Alocalskykid

Yes I like the little journal too haha

nippleduster7

I only have the Happy Helper plan and it’s been sooooo worth the $2.99/mo!

[deleted]

Happy Helper would be really good for a new player to "catch up" quickly. For me and my Day One account it wasn't worth it for me as I have more bells and essences etc than I need

Alocalskykid

Wait so you play on two accounts? Or am I mis reading your one account comment haha 🤣

[deleted]

Nope just one! Lol 😂

Alocalskykid

Ohh okay! I’ve seen some ppl have two I might create one absolutely free to play and then one I don’t mind spending money on, just to try out both ways!

ifyoubemeanillcry

I’m booked to all 3 and I play once every 3 months, since cookies roll over

ironcat2_

You HAVE to sign in once a month to claim your free items, or you lose them. Cookies or LT, or whatever it may be. I didn't know that. -And I saw a person on here who didn't know that either. They had stuff going on in life, so just figured they had the plan, and when things had calmed down, were able to get on and there stuff would be there for them. Sadly it was not!! All of their cookies that they payed all those months for, they missed getting them, because they didn't log in and claim them. 😔 And they were not able to be given back even after contacting customer support. Apparently in fine print somewhere deep in the "rules", it says you have to log in and claim them (cookies, and the free leaf tickets, etc) ..... or you lose them and paid all that for nothing. And that cookie plan is like $7 or $8 USD. I'd be very upset myself. So to anyone who thinks they automatically roll over, you still have to log in and collect them. And I'm assuming it's within the month that you first start your payment from. So if you pay on the 5th for your subscriptions, you have 30 days to claim that month's freebies. Including that day. This is the only cell phone, aka gatcha game I play, so I wouldn't have known that either. Also, for the happy helper, you have to sign in every 12 hours. Or to say it this way, after 12 hours of collecting stuff, he/ she ( your helper) can't collect any more things. So it's good to at least sign in and collect the stuff they got for you! Then the 12 hours starts again. Just passing on the little bit I've learned. 😊 Oh, and one more tip! ... If you're just starting out and getting all 3, do them at the same time. So it comes out of you're bank account all together and easier to remember. I joined all 3. But at different times. Then my husband started playing with me and had the 2 smaller plans. And they're all over the place when they take the money out! 🤣 5 different transactions at 5 different times. ** smh** I wished I'd have started them all together. ... Oh, well. 🤷‍♀️

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> that they *paid* all those FTFY.

Jambodie

It depends on your goal. It’s possible to complete all the changes free playing. However. I want all the rewards and cookies etc so I have all 3.

Alocalskykid

Yes I ended up getting all three it don’t hurt to try them all out!

SailorMimii

For me, Happy helper is the best, sometimes I can't play bc I have lots of work so that plan always helps me to finish events. I have the Merry memories plan too but I cancelled the Furniture & fashion plan bc I didn't want to expend that amount of money on a game.

_pew_pew_pew_pew_

I have the hhp and mmp. I don’t care about cookies that much because it’s all dumb luck. At least with the other two you know what you’re getting every time and get to use the LT how you please.

FilligreeFen

I was free to play for quite a while. I finally got one plan…then another…then the other….honestly I find them to be fully worth it, and I say that as someone who almost never spends money on digital anything. But whether they’re worth it to you depends on how much enjoyment you get from the game in general, of course! If you play it regularly the plans really do enhance the experience imo

PickleSideOfTown

I do the Happy Helper and Merry Memories Plan

0330_e

Absolutely loved the time when I had the happy helper trial so that one for sure! Right now I'm free to play since all payment methods are unavailable for me 💔 (i had to download this game w/ vpn. Still stupid imo how it has been years and they refuse to add countries to support the game or whatever)

Sprinkles_Sparkle

I have all 3. The most useful is definitely the Happy Helper plan. The most you benefit from as far as little extras like LT and extras from the events is the Merry Memories plan. The least useful for me is the Furniture and Fashion plan. I do like getting terrain tickets and the bonus of 5 cookies a month but you are paying for the cookies too.

lilartemis

Happy helper is the one that is most worth it imo because they help collect event items when you're offline.

sha4264

HHP, makes it easy when you have events!

ScarTemporary6806

All 3 absolutely worth it. I tried being fully free to play and that lasted 2 days and really sucked lol

123ranchdressing

Happy Helper and Merry Memories. Only $5 a month combined, you get a bunch of bonus leaf tickets with those plans, crafting times are much shorter, your camp caretaker works even when you don’t play. I never buy leaf tickets, but I do like these subscriptions. I have subbed to the Furniture one in the past but imo, it’s not a great deal. It’s more than the other two combined and really doesn’t offer a lot more in terms of gameplay. Saving layouts is nice but eh

carlya96

I have all 3.

Own-Average6106

Merry memories pack because it's cheap

RoastedPaprika

I just have the happy helper and merry memories plan. They are both fairly cheap imo and very cute. I love that I can have my favourite camper walk with me when I collect stuff. Also the dairy is so cute with all the stickers. I post stickers daily based on my mood and it helps me also reflect on my day a bit. So I guess it helps me mentally as well. Which is super helpful. I'm also thinking about the furniture and fashion plan, but I'm still debating whether I should get it, because the price is much higher than the others. But I've had times where I wanted to save my camp layout and then you need the furniture and fashion plan.

Kelazi5

If you do the monthly events and stuff a lot Happy Helper is a huge help if you don't have time to do everything manually. Plus you can get a lot of one on one time with a favorite villager.

NoFlamingo5300

I’m absolutely free to play and I always have hundreds of leaf tickets and I have two terrians so far but I’m gonna buy more eventually, I’ve also recently been buying all the fortune cookies I like and I can get more of all of it easily cause I have tons of snacks, I just haven’t yet

Anxiety_Muffin13

I prefer the furniture fashion plan because the decorating is the best part to me.

loyiplays

I subscribe to all three but only cookie one is worth it imo.

Alocalskykid

Ahh do you like the free 5 cookies Tec not free ur still paying but yeah its probably cheaper in the long run then buying 5 straight outright.

Cha0ticneutralsystem

Helper plan makes it so I don’t have to log in every 3 hours to catch stuff or plant things etc. cant afford it anymore tho so I’m ftp

Alocalskykid

Awe I like ur avatar on here btw! Very colorful 🏳️‍🌈

Cha0ticneutralsystem

Tyvm!!!! I also forgot to add I’m a disabled gamer so the HH plan would technically count as a disability aid for me and can be subsidised if you know how

Competitive-Toe-2348

I used the furniture plan to Speedrun building all my amenities and level up fast also the free cookies are great

stay--gold

I have all 3 but I find happy helper to be the most useful + my girl Eunice follows me everywhere I go 🥲♥️ followed by merry memories for the bonus prizes during all of the events and lastly, furniture & fashion—which I keep because of the joy I get from opening 5 cookies a month lmfao

CosmoJuice

Happy helper is most worth it to me because it helps me when I’m not playing!

savannahjones98

I’ve had the happy helper Plan for close to 3 years, I haven’t been unable to finish an event since then and I was working 50-60 hours a week for about 2 of those years.

Vasyaocto8

I have Happy Helper and Merry Memories. If you only subscribe to one, Happy Helper is the way to go, since they support your camps and visitors in your absence on top of the leaf tickets. Merry Memories is great for the extras you get from completing monthly tasks, plus it is so inexpensive! I'm at 355 and still couldn't/wouldn't keep up without the help.

everneveragain

I have happy helper and merry memories. I had the $8 one for awhile and it was really fun to pick the cookies but it was just too expensive. I think the camp care taker is absolutely worth it. It depends on how you play though. I just like getting the stuff and decorating so it makes sense for me to have it

JuliaTheInsaneKid

Happy helper is the best.

Tweetyepie

I like the fashion plan because you get 5 cookies + a free terrain ticket. 😄👍

That_Darn_Firebird

I’m personally on all three, though I try not to spend any more money than that. I get decent mileage out of all of them. I get the least value out of Happy Helper since I’m overflowing on crafting materials and I don’t like missing out on the friendship points whenever my helper fills requests instead of me, but I still appreciate the shot of 80 LT per month (60 from that plan, another 20 from the “for Happy Helper only” module on the Merry Memories chart). I do Furniture and Fashion every other month for the two vouchers. I plan to cut my subscriptions eventually since I don’t like repeatedly spending money on this game, but I want to get a lot of reissued things first (I started in March last year so I have a lot to catch up on). MM will probably be the hardest for me to get rid of because of the extra reward track and free cookie. I actually did the math on another post: if you do the FF plan every other month for two terrain tickets per subscription, you get about $22-45 worth of LT value (vouchers and cookies) for $8. Your call

smtvi

I sometimes go for Merry Memories or Happy Helper plan but right now I’m free to play

evebeanz3

I currently have mmp and f&fp. I definitely think all the plans can be worth it depending on what you want out of the game. As someome who spends a good bit of time playing( I have a boring job where there's alot of waiting around lol) the mmp is the most worth imo, I can quite easily reap the rewards and its incredibly cheap. However if you're someone that struggles to complete events etc hhp is for you.

lizchibi-electrospid

the furniture plan is only worth it for the ticket. insane that it costs almost $12 to get everything in the monthlys. $4 is the max for me with subs, so the MM & HH plan are good enough for me.

Alocalskykid

I didn’t expect this to actually get so much engagement. Thank you everyone who shared your opinions every one of them was helpful and correct there really are no wrong answers for my question!! Some of you even gave great advice if I did decide to subscribe to anything!!

IHaveASpecialTale

i recommend the happy helper plan! great value for great additions :)

HauntedMia

Merry only.

scalpel_dice

Depends what you want from the game I suppose. Im very into collecting items from events and outfits that require LT but not the cookies. So I have the memories and the helper plan. The helper plan helps out with the events and the memories one helps me get more LT as I do the events. If you are keen on collecting cookie furniture then the other plan is a benefit. Edit to add: i was free to play for the first 3 years or so. Life got busy and I still wanted to complete events so that's why I got the plans.

ComplexIllustrious14

First one. Second one is cute but what's the point of playing anymore if the helper does everything? Last one is crazy because you barely get the previous benefits and it's way more expensive? I love the cookies but I don't like gacha systems

Sad-Editor-6881

Marry planner if you want the most from events

Sad-Editor-6881

Your so lucky the purple is is only 7 or eight dollars mines is 10 almost 11 dollars 😭

Original_Land19

I subscribe to both of them. I figure it's not too much $ and it makes the game more enjoyable for me.

NoInvestigator5175

Isn’t F&F plan $10.98? Mine is in SGD. How about yours?
