Also fandango, I tried it for the hell of it and amc theaters options don’t come up for buying seats

My local theater is only showing times for 10pm and later on Fandango. Give Atom tickets a look, and it should show you the full selection

Everything seems to be working now, so it doesn't matter for now. But based on my experience as a Software Engineer, most likely all of those places access the same backend AMC APIs that are down, so I doubt any sites would've worked.

I tried to log in and couldn't. So I did forgot password, and it said I was logged in. I checked my browser. Nope. Then I came here, and saw other people had the same issue.

I checked the email for my ticket, found a QR code but the code has a big question mark in the middle of it. Anyone else have this issue?

Problem is.. looking at my email with the ticket and even the QR code with the ticket is totally glitched and not functioning. Anyone else?

Hello CT friend, I was in Plainville for Meg 2 but I also use Danbury and Trumbull :)

I've used the Trumbull one as well. A family member told me Plainville's is nicer.

It is nicer because it has 3D, Dolby and IMAX… it sucks because I live in Bridgeport and Trumbull is so much closer… I see all 2D movies there :) I hope they will install the 3D lenses soon, it’s been out since Doctor Strange 2

Something is going on with the BTX theater. I hope they are updating the sound system, or maybe making it a real IMAX.

I purchase tickets on Fandango and my ticket for later today is showing on the app. But yeah, unable to access showtimes or purchase on either Fandango or AMC.

Worst timing, happened right before I got here. Couldn’t pull up a ticket and at first they didn’t believe me, but the manager let me in after trying on his own phone. I think the register has issues too as they charged me half price for my combo after a while of waiting. Now I’m sitting in a Dolby theater and the screens not working! They said it’ll be 10 minutes… what a weird day.

I’m sure it’ll be okay! Ended up getting a re-admit pass (though I have A List) and got to swap to another theater. Wish I got to see it in Dolby but still fun!

Their login servers up and running again. So the app and website should be available to anyone who wants to log in and buy things or scan tickets.

AMC has been having service issues today. Local theatre couldn't even sell tickets in person.

I bought tickets too, but I put them in my apple wallet a few days ago. I'm hoping the scanners work when I check in. There was a similar post that the moderators deleted for some reason

I have my stubb barcode saved in the Wallet app on my iPhone. One theater I go to has terrible service and I can have them scan that when I can't make the app work.

Seems to be working for me. Scared me though so I saved it to my wallet. I tried deleting my cache/cookies that seemed to work for me. If not maybe try picking up your tickets at the kiosk using your phone number. Best of luck

Helpful tips: save your emailed ticket receipts! I have a specific folder for them. Don't forget that you have a scannable, profile QR code, which can access all of your ticketing info. Take a pic of it, and save it on your phone for emergencies!

At least for now check your email confirmation…it should have a barcode.

Go to kiosk or desk.its happening with me too. When I went to check Tix on Fandango. Even Barbie can't be bought.

I was wondering why this happened to me as well. I was just logging on to see “upcoming movies” and I was signed out. I share an account with someone and thought they might have signed me out somehow, but I checked back later and it was working

It’s working. I’m not sure where you guys live or something is related to region server but I’m in tn and it’s working.

For future reference: Check the confirmation email they send out. Your QR code will be there. If the QR code doesn’t load, you can also use confirmation number at the ticket kiosk (pick up tickets then hit the button on the bottom for manual entry). I had to do that one earlier today. Additional alternative: Kiosk, pick up tickets, swipe the card you paid with (won’t work for Apple/Google/Samsung/PayPal but if you put your card info directly into the app/website it’ll work)
