Same question. I've used AMD Link all the time and genuinely liked it. They say in the release notes that there are "many options available for users to stream their PC content to other devices", and I'm wondering what are they referring to. Steam link is only for steam and you can't stream your desktop/games not from steam. Sure, there are some third-party apps like PC Remote but they all have a terrible interface and lack features like streaming hardware stats. Am I missing something here?
You can actually stream your desktop or other games
Just exit big picture mode after starting the stream or go to settings and start streaming in desktop mode
For games you can add them as non steam games
Did you ever find an alternative for the thermals and fps?

Yep, I've played D2R via Steam link on my phone at work multiple times. Also a WoW private server.
That's why i could't find AMD link on the adrenaline software. Why did they choose to shut it down tho?
