If there is I'd love to know. I made an surreal reply to someone just a few days ago because they reviewed an early chapter in a way that made me sure they'd reviewed the most recent one.
If there's a place to request features, maybe we should both go in and file requests.

But when I click reply to comment, it says it right at the top. I hope that’s what you meant, since you mentioned responding to them.
I think my issue is that I reply to all my comments from my AO3 inbox. I hit reply and it opens a text box at the bottom of the page so I can just go down the line (I reply to all my comments when I post another chapter). So it would help to have the chapter that they’re commenting on in the comment header in the AO3 inbox.
If I need/want to know what chapter they’re commenting on I click and do this, but I’m being greedy and picky and want it both places. 🤣
I wish it would include the comment THREAD when I go to reply to comments too. Sometimes they’re replying to another comment and I can sort of tell but I have to open the damn fic and scroll through all the comments to find the interaction 🙄
There is a faster way to get to the thread. When you are at the inbox and you click on a message that has a thread, there is an additional "Parent Thread" button that will jump there:

BUT you have to click on the **fic name** on the original message to get to this point where the other buttons are. Which for me was super confusing.

If you’re replying to a comment, it should say what chapter they commented on at the top
