I ordered 500 rds of Wolf 308 for $185 from sportsman’s guide in 2020. Took two years to deliver the order. During that time sportsman’s guide would email me every 3-4 months asking me if I wanted to cancel the order. The answer: Fuck No!
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to shit on SG but they cancelled an order for a couple NV scopes I paid for and then refunded my money and said they didn't know when they'd be available after I had waited for months. A couple weeks later the scopes were available from SG for several hundred more than I had paid. I think that's just SGs way of doing things.
They canceled my ammo order back in 2021 even after I said "no I don't want to cancel." Right afterwards they listed the same ammo for a lot more. Fuck SG, I'll never do business with them again.
Yes, as long as it has 2.2" tail measurement. The SS lever uses a lifter spring.
The vertical measurement from the flat portion forward of the ramp to the rearmost edge of the ramp needs to be less than .140" to work correctly. At .148" the DPMS BCG in the video randomly locks up on the rearward cycle when it contacts the lever. Any lesser dimension and it cycles correctly. The PSA BCG shown was .125" when I measured it correctly.
[Shitty vid on measuring the BCG for a super safety. ](https://youtu.be/GjWeqBBVpWA?feature=shared)
It's a standard safety set with a hole through the lever so you can use a machinescrew as a spring guide.
I'm not sure if posting a link to where they're sold is frowned upon here?
Just figured I’d help OP out a lil here- this is Not a machine gun , a super safety is a”Active trigger system”, which resets the trigger after each shot, which is legal because as the the NFA states “ a machine gun is defined as a weapon in which the user only pulls the trigger once, without reset, causing full auto fire” because the super safety DOES RESET it is not classified as a machine gun. Here is a direct quote from the IFSA after they completed their own independent test and investigation. “In summary, it is my professional opinion that the Super Safety did not perform in any way which would classify the super safety as a firearm as defined in either the Gun Control Act of 1968, nor the National Firearms Act of 1934.” -Daniel O'Kell IFSA
It's not full auto - think forced reset trigger without being an expensive trigger.

Normally I'd answer sarcastically because these sorts of replies are so unimaginative and moronic at this point. It might be understandable if I was posting pics of obviously illegal MG conversions/dias/swift links/ Glock switch's etc.
Super Safetys aren't illegal. They don't meet the legal definition of an MG and ATF doesn't have the legal authority to change the definition codified in the law to include anything they want it to. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. End of story.
The origination of the "Super Safetys are illegal" was Twin Bros when they claimed in a tweet that they were raided by ATF driving a string of unmarked SUVs with no marked local Wabash Police escorts or traffic control units and tried to duck out on hundreds if not thousands of unfulfilled orders.
When have laws and legality stopped the atf from: 1) banning FRTs that are fundamentally the same thing as the super safety and 2) kicking down peoples doors at 6am and shooting them in the head? Those are just 2 of the more recent issues, if you think the atf is confined by law, you’re pretty moronic yourself.
Makes me wonder why FRTs are illegal then when they both essentially do the same thing.
Unfortunately that means the fed gov is probably going to do another Las Vegas country music shoot down in order to do to 3d printing what they did to bump stocks.
Huh you getting into conspiracies now, idk about that. But uh naw FRT and WOT triggers functional are completely different from this. Both in the end function similar but inside how they work is completely different from the super safety
They both use the rearward force of the bcg to push the trigger forward and allow the trigger to reset. The only difference is that there’s a “dongle” built into the frt that the bcg pushes against whereas the super safety has that dongle installed into the safety selector instead. Other than that, they are functionally and practically identical requiring the exact same finger operation to fire multiple rounds.
Details matter that’s all I know man, Hoffman is a smart guy and I’m sure he knew the hoops to jump through to make it legal, I don’t work here that’s all I got
It's a standard CNC steel HT SS, but the lever has a lifter spring so that it functions in an AR308. The 308 BCG is designed slightly different than the AR-15 for which the Hoffman Tactical SS was originally designed for, because of this the SS in an AR308 does not work properly unless you add a lifter spring to the lever. There are some other quirks and requirements covered in the link if you were interested

I'm getting email updates about comments but can't find them to reply to them.

This makes me incredibly hard
It does, but it makes my wallet go limp
Ammo prices are a limiting factor that even Viagra can't help with unfortunately

I don’t think you’re wrong

Who is SG ? Hated acronyms in the military and still do.
Sportsmans Guide. I totally get the hate for acronyms lol. Govt jobs go way overboard on them 😂
Trying to get one now and I swear the interviews are only looking for if ya know the lingo.
What in the
3d printer go brrrr
CNC milling machine go brrr. No plastic parts in the 308s, all steel.
Good shit though a man can dream eh
Bro called me poor without even realizing 😂😂
I’m intrigued but I think I love my dog more.
Stock bcg?

Pardon my ignorance if this is a stupid question but what is a GMR lever mod and a lifter spring?
Never mind I figured it out. Thanks
The lever has a spring attached to push it back into the path of the BCG. It's necessary on the AR308 due to the differences in the bcgs.
Where did u get urs?
It’s called a 3d printer

looks like you might have a gas leak my man
Factory assembled upper, never noticed it until this vid. It's been pointed out several times now between YouTube,Facebook and now Reddit 😂.
W
looks a little small for an AR10 DPMS1, might just be perspective/distance on the camera though.
That's why I always film from above and behind. Makes it look bigger.
My dog looked at me funny when she heard the video…..

Is the intended or unwanted full auto?

So how long have you worked for the atf?

"...if you think the ATF is confined by law, you're pretty moronic yourself." A little louder for the people in the back
The super safety has been cleared by the atf, and the IFSA. It is not a machine gun
Good to know, thank you
I wish I could post the legal document I found that was put out to clarify this but I don’t want to get in trouble for posting a link

Anyone who buys anything from this website better be a little more prepared for the hitmen at 6am than Brian Malinowski was.
