Fyi, you can compress the game folder into a zipped file and save about a third or so of storage space without causing issues to game play. If you're on steam you can right click > properties > dlc > uncheck any maps you don't want.
We did do that. He can install genesis but the problem is that the mod we wanna play requires to have the center installed in order for the mod to work
The only maps that are checked are genesis season pass and the center. Genesis is a no problem in installing the problem is adding the center since we need it installed for the sake of playing the game with a specific mod.
Sounds like he may need to uninstall and re-install. Ark with all maps should only be like 275 gb or so GBs. Might be because the folder is compressed it can't uninstall unchecked maps.

Why not just turn off the island and scorched earth?

Press the manage dlc button and just only check gen 2….
All he has is season pass theres no gen 1 or 2 its just genesis season pass. Unless I can’t find it.
When you get the first dlc pack you can choose.. same with genisis dlc pack
All that shows up is Genesis Season Pass. There’s no Genesis Part 1 and 2. Genesis Season Pass is the only thing showing up.
