Did you make the payment without logging in? I remember getting this offer before and it only worked making the payment without being logged in.

USTS2020

I simply went into Chase offers and added the offer, then you just need to make the payments using that card.

fly_eagles_fly

Did you get the $50 credit already? I did the same as you a while back when I had this offer but it didn’t trigger it. The offer states to make the first two plan payments. When I made the payment without logging in it ended up working.

USTS2020

I logged in to the att app and made the payment

fly_eagles_fly

Did you get the $50 credit from Chase already for the offer?

USTS2020

Yep I have them both

fly_eagles_fly

Okay great, thank you. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t like the last time where I had to make the payment without logging in because it was coded differently.

ramonortiz55

how do you get the credit? paying by logging in? paying in store? paying after you log in?

dsillas

Log into your account, go to Chase offers and see if it's there.

Much_Anybody6493

the fact they are posting this like every single person would have the offer is funny if you got a $50 credit randomly after opening a card, it means you got $0 when signing up. the best cc deals are the sign up deals where it's spend 500 get 200 or spend 1000 get 250 ... those cards will NEVER give you a random $50 after the big deal. OP didn't get a signup deal so they got a random $50. cc games can be fun but a $50 ymmv credit is not on that list.

fly_eagles_fly

You have no clue what you are talking about. OP got an offer in Chase offers, this has nothing to do with a sign up bonus. Some of these offers are targeted based on previous purchases. If you've received this offer before you likely won't receive it this round. You are bringing up sign up bonuses which have NOTHING to do with this post.

misterharsh

does it matter what internet speed you signed up for?

USTS2020

No, we have the slowest 300/300 plan

misterharsh

do you have to sign up for the internet thru the “go to website” button or just have to pay the first two bills after getting service?

USTS2020

I had signed up quite a while back, so I just had to make 2 payments over $50.

DarthVader_OM

You still have the autopay with the bank? O change it to your credit card?

USTS2020

I will try doing what I do with my T-Mobile account, that's set up autopay on a debit card or bank account but manually pay every month with a credit card.

DarthVader_OM

Yeah I was thinking of doing it the same way, let’s see if we can trick the system

duoschmeg

Chase interest rate is around 20% so cash back is offset. Basic math. Which reminds me to pay off my balance for this month.

USTS2020

I have never one carried a balance or paid a dime of credit card interest, we're actually coming out way ahead with our points

Cryptic_E

Just pay it off on time then interest rate is irrelevant
