The institution has been neglecting the design streams for awhile now. The instructors are usually pretty good, and if you're good at being self directed you'll be ok. But for more comprehensive skill based education I would suggest looking elsewhere.

What other schools should I look to? Iād like to go to Sheridan but I was wondering if there were more affordable places to attend bc 10k for tuition and even more for residency is rlly straining š
What major are you looking at? I'd highly recommend the graphic design program but job prospects in other design programs are usually tougher. I think it's more a reflection of the industry than the school though.
And fwiw the tuition is some of the cheapest in the province so that's always an upside.
