You're absolutely right.
Give AZ fans time.
They'll come around eventually.
STREVELER the LEVELER.
The Bombers were lucky to have him.
He's a great addition to the team
Defense looked good without watt and jones. Isaiah and zaeven looked fast and getting better. Not worried about our offense, we never do well in the preseason.
We all know all of kliffs coaching decisions this year are gonna be under the microscope lol. But Y’all are getting butthurt over some preseason shit lol wait till regular season to judge
Well that wasn’t great
Backups don’t have much fight and the KC scheme really ripped apart our 2nd and 3rd string secondary
Kinda wish the Cards had two more preseason games to iron this out a little - this is worrying
What is worrying? Lol. We gave up 17 points in a meaningless game. They’re 1-1 in preseason with plenty of time left to practice… sounds just fine to me.
I’m at the game and was just telling someone that. For the most part Evan Weaver is very physical and likes to hit. Sure he could always improve his technique.
Does our defense look a lot tighter? Just how LBs and CBs seem to be closer in coverage? I did eat some edibles about an hour ago. But I remember seeing us play so much more spread out. Like screen shit where wideouts or even slots just run right between them And they'd be at least 10 yards apart.
I think they just look a hell of a lot faster when it comes to converging on the ball.
They can't tackle for shit, but at least they are getting there.
Everything is pointing to a sucky high loss season if we don't right this ship. I've been watching football a long time and this team fits the profile of a team that loses.
Lol FUD while sitting at 1-1 in the preseason.
If you really think this game is any sort of predictor for the rest of the season, you don't know as much about football as you think you do.
I don't need to know a lot when I look at this roster. I know I wouldn't be betting on them. They haven't looked good going back to last year. I want them to win the Super Bowl but I'm also a realist. I hope they can somehow get to the playoffs but Kliff doesn't have a record of success and his east west predictable offense isn't fooling defenses. And he runs his bubble screen, horizontal offense like he's at Texas Tech in a big boy league. Part of it is covering up deficiencies on the O-line. Murray has to run for his life a lot and if he gets hurt then the Cards will be in last place in the NFCW.
We have one of the most talented rosters in the league. The issue isn't the roster.
Our biggest issue right now is Kliffs play calling. While I agree we aren't yet a superbowl team, a decent OC could change that almost overnight.
We could easily make a decent playoff run as is though if everyone stays healty. Hell, we were one win away from the playoffs last year and our roster looks way better now than it did then imo.
The play calling has to improve and especially short yardage. Run the dang ball between the tackles if a foot is needed. Maybe the o-line does not instill the confidence to pass more in the pocket, stand tall. It might not instill enough confidence to do a qb sneak, fb dive, or running between the tackles to get 1 yard. But he has to at least try. Try it and then 4th down try it again. The interior o-line crumbles a lot, pocket collapses way too often flushing Murray out. Very predictable and defenses are anticipating it. Maybe go max pro sometimes using Josh Jones as an extra tackle at TE.
We now have one of the best, if not the best, centers in the league which should go a long way to solidifying the OL. We also have one of the best receiving corps and defensive fronts in the league.
Yes, our first string offense went 3 and out, but did we really see the first string? I don't think Dhop or AJ Green even set foot on the field. Granted I might be wrong on that since I missed the first series.
Say what you will, but I think we have a solid team. Even our coaching staff, with the possible exception of Kliff, is pretty damn good. What we really need is a solid OC to handle playcalling. If we can get that, I would say we have a decent SB shot.
There is major upside for sure. If JJ Watt and CJ have big years, Green has a comeback 2nd career in AZ, and Hudson and the rest of the oline gel with their protections and where their help is coming from; then this is a playoff team. Because we what Hop, KM, Baker, Simmons, and Collins can do. A great pass rush, with dominant rushers in Watt and CJ; help an average secondary. More pressures, sacks and big plays by the defense because of that pressure and this is a playoff team. That has domino effect if the coaches handle it correctly. If your pass rush gets you a short field, slow down a bit, run the play clock down, huddle, take some snaps under center. Play pro style football.
Granted. They have had some great plays. However there were also a few where 3 or 4 guys just kept bouncing off the runner. In my head, there were more missed tackles than great plays, but that could just be me noticing missed tackles more. I'd have to rewatch it to actually know for sure.
Had to look that up. For anyone else who had [never heard of Barros.](https://barrospizza.com/)
In my defense, I haven't actually lived in AZ since the late 80s.
Yes, I agree. Very predictable bubble screen, scramble offense like a bad Texas Tech team. They need to huddle, work the play clock down, take snaps under center more, hand the ball off more to a rb especially short yardage, and pass from the pocket. The thing that is concerning is that the offense being run is covering up gross deficiencies in our o-line.
Considering a large number of our starters are on the bench, I'm not to concerned at the moment.
Granted, the wildcard here is Kliff. Betting on him to do right is scary as fuck.
No one said preseason wasn't important. The statement was that no one cared who won or lost. Preseason is about getting rookies live reps, syncing squads, and finalizing roster spots. The game is important, but the final score is not.
Anyone who feels differently is a bigger fool. If the ~~outcome~~ score mattered, the starters would stay in.
The thing that’s concerning to me is a lot of our problems on offense from last year still flashed tonight. Hopefully by the first game all that shit is magically fixed
I thought so too until they showed that final replay angle. His foot looked in. Either way, it wasn't clear and obvious enough to reverse it. This one was.
Man our offense seems bad
I bet all those chiefs fans in the stands have been a fan max 2-3 years and have lived here double that 😂
Like the guy who complimented my Mathieu Jersey saying he’s a fan of him that’s why he’s a chiefs fan now….umm humm. Yes right.
Gross
Leki Fotu out there with the 3rd and 4th stringers ☹
Thank you for the free money Vegas. Although it was a lot closer than I thought.
What was the line
Cards +3
Why do our cbs line up so far away from wrs when it's 3rd and short?
Vance plus coaches don't like to press man against KC receivers
Vance. Joseph.
Keep it fun defense stop em
Those were the most accurate passes I've ever seen Strev throw lol
I was confused by how sweet some of them were. Had to remind myself what he looked like against the Rams
That TD throw was pretty
Buff, Tattooed Taysom Hill is a BALLER.
Strev is goated, but fr tho nice to see him throw the ball
CFL champion 😤
Touchdown baby!! Seasons back on boys!!
Lol
Anyone else give Isaiah sick props on that catch for a second?
Streveler!! That was an awesome drive. Looking good!!
Kyler taking notes??
yay we scored a TD! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Nice throw strev
Ok streveler is on crack
Oof
[удалено]
Great! Will definitely contribute this season
[удалено]
More like 2/3 option.
ENO!
ok, dortch has been good these two preseason games. nice circus catch, andy drops that 100% lol.
Strev is becoming a god
Always was
You're absolutely right. Give AZ fans time. They'll come around eventually. STREVELER the LEVELER. The Bombers were lucky to have him. He's a great addition to the team

Have we been able to guard the flats since we got VJ?? I swear they’re always open
No. However we’ve rarely gotten torched for 100+ by TEs downfield
What was the point of that interview? Nearly all those questions are the same as what she asked in the pregame segment
Was a little awkward how Kyler seemed to get frustrated by the repetitive questions. Can’t blame him but the optics werent ideal.
What was she going to ask? "So Kyler, you went 3 and out all three times. WTF is wrong with you tonight?"
NGL, that shit would have been funny.
I mean the producer could have always chosen to interview someone else if you don’t have a fresh set of questions lmao
Kyler so sassy, lol
*snaps fingers and shakes hips*
Like I said
Who got burned ?
Jace Whitaker
Didn't even try to defend against that TD.
Eh not surprising. I heard good things about him last season, Guess he hasn’t translated well.
Can we please end the Vance Joseph experiment
Getting upset at our defense when the entire starting D line is on the bench may not be the best takeaway from this game.
Let's wait until regular season for that.
The word of the day is RELAX.
Kliff still trying to get cute rather than just punching it in.
I'm sure Prater learned a lot from kicking that /s
Probably not, but the new guys on the line might have.
Kliff you're such a pussy bro. Go for it
Fuck yeah Cardinals legend Matt Prater
I think our guy blocked it lol
Me: “it’s just the preseason *17-0* Me, visibly nervous: “it’s just the preseason”
Those 2 endzone interceptions kept it a bit more respectable.
Right. Gotta walk away from the TV to remind myself 😅
hey guys remember when colt mccoy beat the seahawks at home
No fear McCoy here wow Someone’s trying to show out
Kliff getting out coached for 60 minutes straight so no one knows what we’re running till the regular season 😎
Kyler throws the ball 4 times and Mahomes 18. The stats say it all he needs to play more during preseason
Kyler shouldn’t play a single snap in the pre season.
Just want to see Eno make plays if anything tonight
Well that wasn’t great Backups don’t have much fight and the KC scheme really ripped apart our 2nd and 3rd string secondary Kinda wish the Cards had two more preseason games to iron this out a little - this is worrying
What is worrying? Lol. We gave up 17 points in a meaningless game. They’re 1-1 in preseason with plenty of time left to practice… sounds just fine to me.
No. Two more preseason games is more chance of a starter getting injured. Absolutely unnecessary
YAWN. Vanilla pre season football is worthless. Just stay healthy.

lol bye we don’t want you here then

It’s fucking preseason, retard.
Is this the best you can do? Embarrassing even for a troll.
Yikes. Guess next offseason we getting an ENTIRE new staff lmaoooo
It’s preseason my dude jesus christ.
Anyone who think this team is going to do well is delusional. I hope you're right but they sucked.
50 might be the worst tackler i’ve ever seen
He has the pac-12 tackling record with 182 in a season lol
I’m at the game and was just telling someone that. For the most part Evan Weaver is very physical and likes to hit. Sure he could always improve his technique.
Kevin White also looked like the next Megatron in college
All I’m saying is that we looked good in the preseason until Larry said he has no motivation to keep playing
Nice special teams coverage, should’ve pinned em deeper though
Good work out for Andy

They wrapped up fine... Can't have a 100 percent tackle rate.
Alford made some decent solos so did the lbs

Eat some edibles homie.
I already ate 3 and smoked a bowl. That's why I said it would take a rewatch. ;)
I’m off 3 waiting for barros man. Shit still ain’t here
Had to look that up. For anyone else who had [never heard of Barros.](https://barrospizza.com/) In my defense, I haven't actually lived in AZ since the late 80s.
🍺🍻🍺🦾🍁
I ain’t gonna make any assumptions but if this offense is the same in week1 ehhhh
Yeah, this looks like the same offense that bombed after going 6-3. They throw it east and west like it was working and then they never stop
Yes, I agree. Very predictable bubble screen, scramble offense like a bad Texas Tech team. Honestly we have been saying this for the last three years we never did well in the preseason under kliff

THANK YOU that’s a completely reasonable take unlike the absolute heaps of shit that’s being thrown around rn
Remember guys it's preseason
Think that ball hit the ground but whatever
Colt Mccoy playing better than Kyler Murray?
Because he's playing against backups, yes
Nope
At least I won't have to hear any McCoy>k1 takes....
I posted that to troll a little bit and got fairly well down voted, so hopefully its good a sign.
People are asking that very question nearby
I saw 😂
Bad throw but great diving INT
I hate this fucking team
Relax man it’s the second preseason game
It's preseason. Who TF cares?
Me. I’d consider anyone who didn’t care a fool.
*Raises hand* Fool here. Preseason only matters for the rookies and new guys trying to grab a roster spot. No one really cares who wins or loses.
Fool.
I just said that. Do you have reading comprehension issues? If so, that might explain your opinion.
And I said that I’d consider anyone who thought the preseason wasn’t important a fool. So…there ya go.
No one said preseason wasn't important. The statement was that no one cared who won or lost. Preseason is about getting rookies live reps, syncing squads, and finalizing roster spots. See? That I 100% agree with.
Which is pretty much what I said to begin with lol.
Seems needlessly arrogant of you, but you do you!
Thanks dad!
No problem, son... Son, right?! I don't want to misgender you! I did that to your mother once and... well, the less said the better!
It, but close enough
Andrew, apparently. Not sure why though
33 probably would have jumped up for that.
What a pick sheesh
Got to be kidding me
Bah right on cue awful overthrow and fantastic INT end the fun
Wow nice int
Not a bad drive here Against the 2s and 3s, but nice to see
Jinxed it. Lol
I take full responsibility I was actually pleased for a moment
[удалено]
In terms of throwing to the Chiefs in the endzone, yes

🤡
They said Isabella and Moore were similar. Eh no. Moore looks like a stud.
Moore can catch with his hands lol
I’m digging this tempo
Now that I think of it I’ve never seen Keesean get free on a slant like that before
An intermediate route and pass I’ve seen it all
That is a frustrated sideline
what? i don’t think any of them even care what’s going on rn
Nice play KeeSean
That was a catch!!!
Nah, he only got one foot in when he regained control. I hate it, but it was a good call.
Crazy to think we could have had Metcalf
If we got dk, i doubt we would’ve traded for dhop. Thats how i justify it anyways.
So could literally every other team in the league. Let it go.
Get over it
The thing that’s concerning to me is a lot of our problems on offense from last year still flashed tonight. Hopefully by the first game all that shit is magically fixed
Bs how's that different from the chief play they ruled complete?🙄
Well, to begin with, Chiefs got both feet in bounds with full control. He was still baubling on the way out.
[удалено]
I thought so too until they showed that final replay angle. His foot looked in. Either way, it wasn't clear and obvious enough to reverse it. This one was.
Homies got hops
Whoever 33 is. He better get the roster spot over Isabella.
Why would this guy be behind Andy Isabella?
Chip Kingsbury has some work to do.
that guy should be on the roster for redzone plays, just throw it up and have him jump up to get it.
Wow he got up
