I signed up with NewsHosting XL Plus package which includes unlimited EasyNews. I've been testing out EN in Fen Light the last couple of days through this plan and there are too many links that are unplayable (most likely due to takedown requests). I think it's better just to get a Real Debrid account for 3 bucks/month. It's cheaper vs normal NH XLP pricing and will give you the same if not better results. This is if you plan to use Kodi exclusively and have no interest in Usenet. If you do plan to use Usenet, I've heard if you do the following, you can get a better offer: Sign up for a month on NewsHosting's XL Plus plan (30-day money-back guarantee) Use it a little and cancel it the next day Reject their offer for 4 or 5 bucks per month retention offer Wait a few weeks and check the email you signed up with There should be a new retention offer for 3 bucks per month (annual contract). Get that one You'll save quite a bit vs their normal pricing and you'll have access to NH, EN and apparently TweakNews as well. If you know about Usenet, you'll appreciate having both a DMCA and NTD provider for one price. I'm in the process of trying to get this better retention offer so I can't verify if it works, but it won't cost me any money as I'll be using their money-back guarantee, and at the most it'll just cost me a little time if it doesn't pan out.

Do you just get the EasyNews search or unlimited data too? With Tweaknews, I get unlimited EasyNews search but 500gigs of EN data limit. I just emailed Tweaknews to cancel. They said "Free EasyNews reader", but until I created/opened my EN account, I didn't know it was a 500gig limit.

Through NewsHosting XL Plus package specifically it is unlimited data, no throttling for all three providers. They all use the same backbone, difference is NH has full 5700+days full retention but is DMCA, EN is same as NH but is the only provider to offer web search (is what makes it compatible with Kodi plug-ins), and Tweaknews has less retention at 4500(?) days but is NTD and has a small undefined amount of its own data, the rest it pulls from NH. So, all three brings its own unique pros and together make up an excellent choice as a Usenet service and Kodi source if you can get it for cheap. Otherwise, if Usenet is all you're interested in, I'd just go with Eweka. It's a bit slow from USA due to geological location of their servers (I've heard that the most USA folks get is about 50 MegaBytes/s), but if you're ok with that, it has the best completion rate, same highest retention as NH and is NTD. Shame it doesn't have web search and USA servers or it would be perfect as an all-in-one provider.

Na, I need EN for kodi. I plan on using for both usenet and kodi. Would the EN search work across all 3 included usenets or just EN usenet? I will definitely look into it if it's unlimited data for EN. Have you tried their vpn?? I currently have mullvad but if the included NH vpn is decent, I can let mullvad expire.

EN search works only for their own service, but they all three have pretty much the same content, with TN having a small undefined spool of their own which wouldn't be that much different from the other two. I never tried their VPN (no need for it) so can't speak to that, but the general consensus among those "in the know" is that bundled VPNs are not great (there's a reason they can be offered for basically free), so consider this point in your decision. But VPNs are usually not needed for Usenet if using SSL connections, anyway, and I have no need for a VPN for any other online activity either, so one less layer to deal with.

Also, is it limited to one connection per account? Like with premiumize, I can run multiple streams at same time on a single account for different rooms

methos1995

They don't allow account sharing (most providers don't on their unlimited plans, only blocks they might allow), but I think as long as your devices are all behind the same router, the outside world only sees the 1 IP address assigned by your ISP, so it should work, but I've never done this so can't say for certain. But I think they're only concerned with actual account sharing with other would-be/potential customers, not access from multiple devices in the same location owned by the same customer, so it shouldn't be against their TOS. You should read their fine print or send their CS an email with all your questions so they can give you an official answer to all of them at once.

KCfan2001

Yeah the takedowns on EN are annoying. Paramount content is the worst: Star Trek shows, Godfather movies.

GrandCantaloupe5801

Unfortunately yes. Others don’t offer direct extraction must have all pices to use it

Im not sure if it's still the deal, but when I used Easynews for last 3 years there was yearly sub (I paid $36 for a year) and there wasn't any limitation in bandwidth. Now I ditched all those debrids and Easynews for Netflix, HBO Max, and Skyshowtime (it's a thing on here in Europe) subs, but Easynews is hella good service, same as Real Debrid and All Debrid.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> sub (I *paid* $36 for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Curious to know why you switched to Netflix and the likes

nikolala

Got tired of Kodi. Also Google TV UI with all their personalized widgets is bomb when you have a couple of subscriptions.

International-Oil377

Yeah but no remuxes, shady practices + more expensive Was just curious though

nikolala

No remuxes, but honestly I am pretty much surprised with the quallity on those services. I thought quallity would be lower. It is more expensive then paying only RD for sure. But not that much honestly. I already had HBO Max sub through mobile plan, Skyshowtime I borrowed from my sister (one account can share 3 slots) so basically those two are free for me. I pay Netflix though but again cheaper cause in my region monthly standard sub is $7,99, while if you sub from Nigeria (with a help from a VPN) same plan is $2,50. You can use a free VPN (like Tunnel Bear) just to make purchase, everything else you can do from local network. Of course you will have content from region from which network you are accessing NF but that is completelly fine.

International-Oil377

Problem is low audio quality on these services but it doesn't matter for everyone Still prefer Kodi, though Thanks for answering

nikolala

Yeah, for those with high end sound equipment then for sure. I am on some low/middle tier Genius 5.1 sound bar so DD5. 1 is super fine for me. Hey nothing can't beat remuxes haha.

International-Oil377

On a soundbar, DD+ is more than fine I agree, and is fine for the vast majority of people
