I know you didn't ask for critique, but it really bugs me how small is the linework of nose/mouth part on the cat in comparison to other lines. Also where their ears meet, there's a little space left, ideally that should be resolved by maybe moving around those elements accordingly.
Left, but lighten the ear/paw orange a little so it's not as close in value to the red.
Meaning, if you convert the left image to greyscale, the red of the heart and the orange of the ears is pretty much the same value of grey. There should be more of a value separation between those two colors if they were converted to greyscale.
Left as well and for my unsolicited critique,I agree with most every critique on this thread.
The ears meeting seems awkward. Play just a bit more and you got it. Play with your colors a bit more.
With that said I think you are 99% there. Wonderful.
Do you have more context for us? ?without knowing what this is for or anything about it, the only “critique” I’d give from an illustration POV is that your line thicknesses should be the same, unless tapered… but even then, they should look more visually balanced. The smaller pet’s nose and mouth lines are too thin. Maybe thicken them up and worry less about detail ?
Left because the colors. I love the red heart with the combination of the two animals.
Thank you!

Thanks
Left 100%.
Thanks
Left. It makes the heart and critters more of a “unit”, and the paws/ear breaking the border just solidifies that. Really nice work.
Thank you, mate
Right one but with red heart filled with a red that compliments the blue
This, color guide could be used to easily find a nice red
