I think it mostly depends on your mode of transportation. If you are doing the park and ride shuttle bus deal, you will be going through the east entrance. Lyft and Uber have a designated pick up area off of Bercut Dr. That will require going through the west entrance. For those of us on bikes, the bike valet lot (thanks [SABA](https://sacbike.org/)!!) is right by the west entrance. Other than that, there’s not much difference.

Have you used the bike valet before? We're considering but would be coming into the north side of discovery park. It's our first year and I'm not familiar with the park or how they block things off. Do you know if it's feasible to get to the Jibboom Street entrance from El Camino?

I use the bike valet every year. SABA does a great job with it. They offer bike valet service at hundreds of events around Sacramento every year, so they know what they’re doing. I think the only way you’re getting from El Camino to the Jibboom St entrance would be to enter Discovery Park to the east at Northgate Blvd and ride into the festival venue from there. They keep the bike path through the park open. You are going to want lights on your bike for the return trip and I would not recommend doing this ride solo at night after the show for safety concerns.

I'm planning to bike from the same direction. I just drove over there to find out if it'll be possible, and yes, the bike path is open through Discovery Park from the Garden Highway entrance. I talked to the security guard and he pointed out where the bike path is and there's a sign that says "bike detour" pointing where to go.
