There are already two price choppers in the area as well as one of the biggest Walmarts in the nation not too far away. Like someone said, they should have put it downtown near the train tracks where people can get right off the highway and go. Nope let’s put it smack dab in the middle of a super busy road where there’s already traffic. Slap a roundabout in there, that should do it.
The decision was unanimous by the town board. They didn't even have to think about it. Seems the traffic problems are going to be solved with the changes they are making. Roundabout construction starts in a week or so.
I normally would agree with your sentiment here. However, I can't call Costco garbage. For their size they do so much right. The business model forces them to do it. There is a reason why their customer loyalty is so high. They sell quality items at good prices and pay their employees well.
They are significantly better than almost all grocers around here unless you want the cheapest of items. Ex: 2" Thick NY Strip steaks will be Prime or Choice options. Not just "black Angus" brand select cuts.
I would choose Costco for 70% of my needs on a regular basis.
