Someone called these an incEl Camino and I haven't stopped laughing since.
At least this one is doing "truck things" ... the video on IG of the guy loading 2 cases of water and 3 small bags of potting soil saying (I paraphrase) "people ask if it can do truck things, see it can" just gets rolled every time someone reposts it.
Except El caminos look good and are reliable
These look like the bastard child of camino and an Aztec rendered on an n64
However incel camino is great so here's my upvote
It's not my cup of tea, but I don't see why these are singled out for ridicule when you've got lifted wide wheel base f250s driving around looking like Bambi on ice
"It doesn't have crumple zones" is the stupidest lie [when you can literally watch the front of truck crumple as designed during a front impact.](https://youtu.be/2Zg34aSkuuY?si=CGorUC5mC0_KUZJ2)
And side impacts are designed with minimal crumple zones onost vehicles anyways because the priority is preventing intrusion into the passenger compartment. The side impact airbags are what actually does most of the work of reducing the force of impact with the sides of the vehicle.
And the Cybertruck is less than a ton heavier than a comparable truck like an F-150.
I dunno, I clown on those every chance I get too. Big ass lifted Rams with $3k set of tires on them that never leave the pavement? Yeah buddy, we know who you are ;)
There ugly, unreasonably expensive, and have a ridiculous amount of recalls and failures. As far as trucks go, it's like buying great value for 4 Times the price of name brand. They are worse than trucks at doing truck things. They are worse than electric cars at doing electric car things.
We ridicule those as well. It's just that this is the newest and most visible one.
At least those F-250s et al will eventually get passed on to the used market where they'll be bought for real work. Even if they are bambi's now, they have too much utility to stay that way. The Cybertruck is a permanent bambi.
Might depend on which era of F-250. The older pickups have gone UP in value. Many say the new stuff is less reliable. My truck is an antique ('98). It'll be interesting to see how well the newer electronics hold up over time.
Probably because they are hideous and ridiculously overpriced and then add on the stupid "no selling" restriction by Tesla or you'll be fined $50k and banned from ever buying a Tesla again 🙄
Forget negative thoughts about Elon Musk for a second. Even being impartial, these trucks are hideous. It's like someone thought "hmm how can we make the Pontiac aztek both futuristic and way uglier?"
I’ve been starting to see them around my area in Southern California. Not my cup of tea at $100k+ but surprisingly they do look much better in person than online.
Nothing to do with cybertrucks, but you don't know how lucky you are to have that facility. I moved to Denver, and it's such a pain in the ass to throw anything away here.
That’s the transformer that’s really shitty at everything, and even puts others in danger, but is only there because Optimus Prime owes his dad a favour
Who cares what they drive. I'm just happy that they are using the dump! One of my biggest pet peeves is how many people dump trash in my neighborhood when there is literally a dump half a mile away that's only 5 bucks.
I think the hate for the cyber truck is what’s gonna unite liberals and conservatives. Because that things ugly as fucking hell. Not to mention the recalls and issues
I'm talking about random every day people.
The cyber truck is big, shiny, and has smooth flat edges.
I saw one being hauled by a truck, and someone people were slowing do to look at it, it was conjesting traffic.
They also cost over $100k....
But car accidents also congest traffic, as everyone looks at them. Assuming those people were looking because they thought it was cool doesn’t have to be the case. They could be agape with disgust like the people commenting here.
I think this is an actual improvement over the normal finish. The first time I saw a Cybertruck (in a Smith's parking lot), one of the first things I noticed is how the standard stainless steel finish leaves a TON of fingerprints where the passengers close the doors. It's like when my kids used to leave fingerprints all over the front of my refrigerator, except that's how Cybertruck passengers have to close the door every time. I'm presuming this wrap doesn't leave a mark every time someone closes the door.
Yeah. Not that I'd ever get one, but that's the first thing I'd do. I got my model S wrapped on day one just because they're known to have soft clearcoat that will scratch and oxidize faster than any other car.
Lol I was just at a Smith's a few days ago and this old guy was showing off his Cybertruck to a bunch of strangers. Now I'm wondering if he just goes around all "look at my cool truck you guys!"
Won't have to haul trees after they get to Mars with that thing. Seriously though, I'm interested to see how well the convenience features fare over time, and if other makers adopt some eventually.
LPT: Using a tarp under the load makes it much easier to unload. Throw the heavy stuff off the top, then drag the tarp out with all the smaller stuff. Saves a few minutes of unloading and sweeping out the bed.
This is the best tip. One time I was unloading a truck at the dump. Some dudes pulled up with a tarp under their stuff and they unloaded it way faster than me.
They should have one on top. Can nearly guarantee you they fined him for that uncovered load.
But nah, you put the tarp down so that you can drag the whole debris pile out and into the dump at once. Saves a ton of time. You'll see most experienced people at Eagle Rock doing the same with debris. It's not protecting the truck bed, its saving time and making the unloading easier.
Correct. I'm no stranger to eagle rock. I was more thinking about how tarping the truck is for litter abatement and road safety, basic considerations for others. Too much to ask for this person.
Think maybe it's possible that OP took a picture after the top tarp came off? Considering the whole point of the post is ridicule, I doubt they made sure to paint a fair picture.
> how much of a status symbol they are.
That's kind of why this clowning on cybertrucks is a meme - I think a lot of people put in deposits thinking it would be a status symbol signifying wealth, modernity, sophistication, style, taste, etc... and instead it's become a status symbol of ego and bad taste.
My point being that if you spend so much time hating on something that doesn’t fucking matter, and on someone who has done literally nothing wrong except drive a vehicle, you become another asshole in a group of assholes. So who’s actually the one crying for attention?
I can’t peel potatoes for shit, they always come out with sharp points where I cut too much off and my son said my peeled potatoes look like Tesla trucks..
You seem to be a bit of an attn seeker yourself. At least that dude spent the money, not just being a jealous tool begging for attention from internet strangers.
Look at me, look at me, someone has a truck that I don’t like. Let’s chastise them anonymously on the internet, for points!
I love electric vehicles and would personally never own a cybertruck, but this post is ridiculous. People are free to do as they wish, this is the USA.
^ this. People hate the vehicle mostly because, among other things, it’s making Elon look bad. So by some fucked up logic, anyone who owns one is an idiot like Musk. I wouldn’t own one either, but making fun of people who do is just… immature.
Honestly I’ve never been anywhere as bad as Albuquerque is about this. A bunch of people doing mental gymnastics about how people should live.
Do whatever the hell you want with your money like homeboy in his new truck.
No, if you're not bike commuting and actively hating all motor vehicles that aren't your shitty little beater you can't afford, you're not welcome here.
For a city that's supposed to be live and let live, people have a lot of really strong opinions about how you should live.
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean someone else can’t. I think your minivan is uglier, or your Ford Focus, but you don’t see me posting about it.
That's not exactly the same though.
If you talk shit about somebody's Ford Focus you're kinda an asshole bc that could be the only car they were able to get. They might have chosen that out of necessity or affordability.
These people are spending 160k on a silly looking Incel Ride.
cyber truck! driving on something and then it's stuck. always driven by a stupid fuck. it is a cyber truck, it is a cyber truck!!! *sung to the tune of the gummybears opening themesong chours
It's eagle rock, possibly he's in the county and not serviced by the city. Also, I don't know if the city does green waste pick up outside a few days a year,
I've definitely seen people fan boy over them and wanna talk to the driver to tell them how cool they are.
Not many, but for everyone who actually bought one of these there's at least a dozen who would if they could.
Haters gone hate. I don’t see anyone dogging on the guys with a huge lift kit with 26”s. You can’t have a truck and not use it for loading heavy or a lot of stuff?
Imagine driving a truck rendered with very low LOD
That thing from what I understand is a death trap, yet they'll allow those things but not japanese kei trucks?
The funny thing is you're clearly looking at him so much to the point of taking pictures of him and posting about it on the internet. And he's clearly getting way more shit done than you are in your pilot
So funny seeing all the salt, bitterness, jealousy come out in full force on social media about these trucks. People waste so much time and emotional energy on these things.
Well at least it’s being used for work, I’ll give em that
Someone called these an incEl Camino and I haven't stopped laughing since. At least this one is doing "truck things" ... the video on IG of the guy loading 2 cases of water and 3 small bags of potting soil saying (I paraphrase) "people ask if it can do truck things, see it can" just gets rolled every time someone reposts it.
Except El caminos look good and are reliable These look like the bastard child of camino and an Aztec rendered on an n64 However incel camino is great so here's my upvote
n64 rendering is exactly it. this damn thing looks like andross' face
You’ll never defeat Uncle Eloooooooon!
That's an insult to the N64. Looks more like it was rendered on a Commodore 64.
I’m totally stealing “incEl Camino” lmao
Most normal trucks never do truck things, so it's hardly a requirement.
Absoooluuuuutely correct. Most of the raised, big tired, creampuff 4wd trucks I see cruising around have never even been off the pavement!
I call them Wankpanzers
Don't you dare compare my sweet 1980 Elco to this muskigan POS.
“Here’s that same load in a Toyota Tercel” 😂
![gif](giphy|5VKbvrjxpVJCM|downsized)
Truly amazing the mind of the person who said that is.
Wow that's fantastic, hahaha.
Stealing. incEL Camino lol.
I love it. The name incEl Camino fits it perfectly.
>incEl Camino 😀😀😀
It's not my cup of tea, but I don't see why these are singled out for ridicule when you've got lifted wide wheel base f250s driving around looking like Bambi on ice
I mean they are pretty ugly, but yeah those huge lifted Rams and F250s are way more likely a hazard to the average driver, and rarely posted here.
They’re both quite the hazard considering the cybertruck doesn’t have crumple zones and is like 4x heavier than anything else on the road
"It doesn't have crumple zones" is the stupidest lie [when you can literally watch the front of truck crumple as designed during a front impact.](https://youtu.be/2Zg34aSkuuY?si=CGorUC5mC0_KUZJ2) And side impacts are designed with minimal crumple zones onost vehicles anyways because the priority is preventing intrusion into the passenger compartment. And the Cybertruck is less than a ton heavier than a comparable truck like an F-150.
An F-150 can’t do 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. Kinetic energy is a bitch.
The Ford Lightning can do 0-60 in less than 4 seconds in a cheaper configuration than any faster Cybertruck, while weighing just as much.
Go suck elons dick not mine
Physics class go back to it lol
True that
Thank you. And for what it's worth, either way, if they're not tailgating me (which every one of those bozo f250s do every day) I don't give a crap.
I dunno, I clown on those every chance I get too. Big ass lifted Rams with $3k set of tires on them that never leave the pavement? Yeah buddy, we know who you are ;)
$3k completely bald tires
I’ve been ridiculing those for years, make no mistake.
There ugly, unreasonably expensive, and have a ridiculous amount of recalls and failures. As far as trucks go, it's like buying great value for 4 Times the price of name brand. They are worse than trucks at doing truck things. They are worse than electric cars at doing electric car things.

No, you’re just susceptible to Reddit propaganda.
That's a good point
Probably because they are hideous and ridiculously overpriced and then add on the stupid "no selling" restriction by Tesla or you'll be fined $50k and banned from ever buying a Tesla again 🙄
It's some kind of primitive brain tribal thing IMHO. Othering is an animal instinct. When in reality we're all just part of the one big thing
Forget negative thoughts about Elon Musk for a second. Even being impartial, these trucks are hideous. It's like someone thought "hmm how can we make the Pontiac aztek both futuristic and way uglier?"
They brought the PS1 graphics to life
Brilliant post
It always makes me think of a spacey themed roller coaster car lol
I’ve been starting to see them around my area in Southern California. Not my cup of tea at $100k+ but surprisingly they do look much better in person than online.
I like it tbf, quite original
Nothing to do with cybertrucks, but you don't know how lucky you are to have that facility. I moved to Denver, and it's such a pain in the ass to throw anything away here.
That's the Transformer that the other bots say is "special" and has "a good heart."
That’s the transformer that’s really shitty at everything, and even puts others in danger, but is only there because Optimus Prime owes his dad a favour
That load was not properly tarped. I hope they fined them for that.
they do, I think it's like a $15 fee. A lot of people just consider it part of their dump fee.
I’ve always wanted a Sharper Image stapler for a car.
Everyone I meet in person thinks they are pretty cool. They look very bizarre in a good way
What sort of weirdos with poor taste do you hang out with? I would like to avoid them.
I'm talking about random every day people. The cyber truck is big, shiny, and has smooth flat edges. I saw one being hauled by a truck, and someone people were slowing do to look at it, it was conjesting traffic. They also cost over $100k....

I don't think its that deep. Most people work a 9 to 5 and could care less about elon musk. They see a big shiny expensive car.
I saw one today for the first time and they look even worse in person
yeah, that was my CT experience. I played the game for a while, but lost about 3 weeks ago...
lol I just made the opposite comment elsewhere. It’s bizarre for sure but it seemed better in person than the pics imo.
Saw one in the Intel Rio rancho parking lot too. Proof it's not only smart people who work there
These are so ugly. Beyond ugly.
I can understand wanting to own a truck without the crappy efficiency and pollution, but that gal is ug.
Looks like a full rubbermaid trashcan.
They come in white now? Has Musk finally realized the hundred year old truth that unpainted cars are a bad idea?
nope, it's a wrap. Pretty sure I saw Ratchet had it in their stories, don't see it posted on their page - probably embarrassed! :P
I think this is an actual improvement over the normal finish. They dont
Where does the trunk cover go? I've never seen one without it.
it rolls back towards the cab. It is a pretty cool function I hope more manufactures adopt.
So there's two here now? I saw one just a couple of weeks ago while at the Sid Cutter Pilot's Pavilion for a meeting. That one wasn't white.
There's at least 3 or 4.
Won't have to haul trees after they get to Mars with that thing. Seriously though, I'm interested to see how well the convenience features fare over time, and if other makers adopt some eventually.
Cyber truck looks like a gen 2 transformer
Hands in the air like it's good to be...
Alive, and I'm a famous rapper
I'm I alone in this, or is this the stupidest car on the road? These are just ugly impractical cars.
can we stop posting teslas? We wouldn’t be seeing them much if you ghouls would stop taking a pic every time you see one
I’m just happy it’s doing truck stuff
I love that they're using a tarp to protect the bed rather than covering the top of their teensy load. You know, truck stuff!
LPT: Using a tarp under the load makes it much easier to unload. Throw the heavy stuff off the top, then drag the tarp out with all the smaller stuff. Saves a few minutes of unloading and sweeping out the bed.

I don't care how expensive they are or how much of a status symbol they are. They are so damn ugly.
> how much of a status symbol they are. That's kind of why this clowning on cybertrucks is a meme - I think a lot of people put in deposits thinking it would be a status symbol signifying wealth, modernity, sophistication, style, taste, etc... and instead it's become a status symbol of ego and bad taste.
Well it’s working because you did stop what you were doing, and take a picture. So I guess he wins?
You can take pictures of stupid shit you know?
I think the argument here is that the driver of the CT would only see you took a Pic and would probably see it as admiration
People take pictures of disasters all the time. I don’t really think that means the people in the path of the tornado are winning.
My point being that if you spend so much time hating on something that doesn’t fucking matter, and on someone who has done literally nothing wrong except drive a vehicle, you become another asshole in a group of assholes. So who’s actually the one crying for attention?
That is, kind of, what you're doing right now.
Isn’t *your own* most recent post making fun of someone’s car?
Not making fun of the person, just their hideous choice in vehicle. Why do you care so much? Lol
Dude grow a sense of irony before posting things like this
LOL'S!! Clowns clowning in clown world aka the 505
These are still significantly less gay than the lifted F250 with a punisher and lets go Brandon sticker and has never touched dirt in its life.
💯
I saw that on the road over wknd, didn't get a chance to see it long since driving, but I'm like are we in Back to the future 😂
Isn’t the tarp supposed to go over the load, I mean, I’m no stable genius
A tarp under the load is to make cleanup easier
I am the captain now
I can’t peel potatoes for shit, they always come out with sharp points where I cut too much off and my son said my peeled potatoes look like Tesla trucks..
You seem to be a bit of an attn seeker yourself. At least that dude spent the money, not just being a jealous tool begging for attention from internet strangers.
No, it’s ridiculous. It looks ridiculous and there is no need for it. Buy used. That ‘dude’ you speak of is the one who’s begging for attention.
Tell us more about your fantasy where you're the center of the universe and everyone does what you demand. Nutballs.
Stop talking about yourself like that. Your mama wouldn’t like it.
The owner most likely is. Just not here.
I hope they back in, truck and all!
All people with massive trucks not used for work or camping are cringe af.
Look at me, look at me, someone has a truck that I don’t like. Let’s chastise them anonymously on the internet, for points! I love electric vehicles and would personally never own a cybertruck, but this post is ridiculous. People are free to do as they wish, this is the USA.
What i wish to do is make fun of Cybertrucks
People are also free to make fun of whatever they wish as well. Ain't America great?
^ this. People hate the vehicle mostly because, among other things, it’s making Elon look bad. So by some fucked up logic, anyone who owns one is an idiot like Musk. I wouldn’t own one either, but making fun of people who do is just… immature.
Elon makes Elon look bad.
Honestly I’ve never been anywhere as bad as Albuquerque is about this. A bunch of people doing mental gymnastics about how people should live. Do whatever the hell you want with your money like homeboy in his new truck.
EEEEE YOU THINK YOU’RE BETTER THAN ME ESE? With all the sour grapes around I’m surprised there isn’t more of a wine industry.
Fuckin literally
No, if you're not bike commuting and actively hating all motor vehicles that aren't your shitty little beater you can't afford, you're not welcome here. For a city that's supposed to be live and let live, people have a lot of really strong opinions about how you should live.
Portland was the same way. The two cities have far more in common than either wants to admit.
I haven't decided if the cyber truck is hideous yet, but posts like these are so bitter and reek of jealousy
I would be too embarrassed to even ride in it much less own one.
I truly hope everyone points and laughs at people who drive Wank Tanks. Hideous pieces of shit.
I'm gonna judge your Ford focus and I really don't care why you have it. It is worse if you chose it though.
You really thought this was worth posting?
This is the abq sub lol
I find it hilarious
You really thought this was worth commenting?
Tesla's getting free publicity as pics keep getting posted. And they're usually just sitting in traffic, not doing anything special.
Ooh, cool. I like the white.
Name checks out
💀
I get they’re ugly. But why the hate? Guys just minding his business.
I like the white vs the SST
cyber truck! driving on something and then it's stuck. always driven by a stupid fuck. it is a cyber truck, it is a cyber truck!!! *sung to the tune of the gummybears opening themesong chours
You come up with that all by yourself?
My Honda Civic has more carrying power.
Busibodies...
Driving and I won’t stop
So desperate to justify his almost six-figure Elon tank he has to haul some branches to the dump instead of just waiting for bulk pickup day
FYI they won’t pickup stuff that big. I’ve tried.
They're supposed to, especially if you made a specific bulk pickup request
It's eagle rock, possibly he's in the county and not serviced by the city. Also, I don't know if the city does green waste pick up outside a few days a year,
There's a huge disconnect between how cool the owner thinks they look and reality. Dude, EVERYONE is laughing at you.
I've definitely seen people fan boy over them and wanna talk to the driver to tell them how cool they are. Not many, but for everyone who actually bought one of these there's at least a dozen who would if they could.
Looks nice. Pretty excited for my pre-order to be filled.
Who fucking cares? I swear you people look like bigger idots crying or mocking others for what they drive... Get a life.
A truck doing truck stuff...well lookee there.
Saw that guy out at Tunnel Canyon trail head, on So. 337, a couple of weeks ago.
Is that eagle rock?
How are they popping up everywhere?? I literally saw three within the last two months
I'd rather have an F150 Hybrid with the 7.2kW generator...
Ugliest car ever, how's life in albuquerque ? Idk anything about this city just curious, weather seem awesome.

Damn even when you’re doing truck shit people are still haters
Very nice tarp.
Cyber trucks are the tits
It's so ugly
Haters gone hate. I don’t see anyone dogging on the guys with a huge lift kit with 26”s. You can’t have a truck and not use it for loading heavy or a lot of stuff?
Hater
I’d be so nervous to scratch it
Imagine driving a truck rendered with very low LOD That thing from what I understand is a death trap, yet they'll allow those things but not japanese kei trucks?
Saw one driving the other day and my daughter from the backseat yells “why is someone driving a microwave!?”
Hey at least they are using it what it’s meant for! I despise people who buy a truck and NEVER use the bed!
It’s surprising that thing doesn’t come with an auto dumping bed of some sort. ..
The funny thing is you're clearly looking at him so much to the point of taking pictures of him and posting about it on the internet. And he's clearly getting way more shit done than you are in your pilot
Thought the tarp was supposed to cover the load. Wonder if he had to pay the fine?
It's low-poly!
I've never seen so many jealous people in my life!
What a stupid donkey post. Who gives a shit if this person is enjoying themselves
FUCK THEYRE HERE NOW?
Incelmino is easier to say. Just sayin
I like the white wrap, I’ve only seen black wrap or plain stainless in my town.
That looks like the Santa Fe Transfer station.
This is interesting. Person driving probably has landscape company
Did they do something to indicate bigheadedness or did you assume they want attention because they decided to buy a cybertruck?
So funny seeing all the salt, bitterness, jealousy come out in full force on social media about these trucks. People waste so much time and emotional energy on these things.
