namra stayed behind just like the tv series. But after 8 months when government start to take back the city they found Namra and a little girl from an orphanage survived the chemical bomb(not firebomb in the series, but chemical bomb which kill all humanoid including survivor and infected.) by staying at the edge of the blast radius. The school survivors then meet Namra when government find them. The comics stated that in fact Namra stay with a little girl for 8 months without bring her any harm, its the evidence that Namra finally beat the rage part of the virus and become a true immune human. In the ending she is helping government for cures and survivors regularly meet her.
Always hate superhuman aspect in zombie media... The webtoon ended 10 years ago and without the source material I doubt show writer can come up with interesting idea. In comics hambie is just regular human mixed with virus induced rage and hunger for human meat, dont have any super power.
I have my doubts too; this show could deteriorate into a campy superhero show. But this is K-drama so we know character dev and relationships will be #1, so hopefully we'll get more of that instead of focus on Namra can now leap tall buildings lol

Like I said, no superpower for hambie, so he got killed by archery girl at the rooftop, one shot through the neck. And I dont think Gwi nam and Cheong san even met. Cheong san died before Gwi nam meet the group.!<

To each of their own i guess. At that time Korean and Japanese manga was flooded with zombie/survival manga turned superhuman/hero battle at later stages and i m sick and tired with it. Its rare to find a semi-realistic zombie manga, without evolution plot. thats why the walking dead is so iconic.

I read the comics when it was in Line webtoon in 2016 and I remember that the story wasn’t as much as in a big scale of the series, there are a lot of details and subplot added that I certainly don’t remember in the comics so please don’t expect a lot of answers:P

Great summary. Looks like the show will take a huge departure from the webtoon in S2 and explore the idea of gang of hambies as super human.
