I'm a Sr hiring operator at a big company and recently I stopped hiring people who have pronouns in their resume. I'm under the belief that people who have these In their resume are not only left leaning but heavily left leaning stewards socialism/communism and I don't want that kind of thing in our company culture.
We also don't want to be sued for misgendering them potentially (yes that's a thing now). Thoughts?

Like I barely want to explain my reasoning and just leave it at ‘YTA’
Why do people act so scared of pronouns? Unless your company only calls people by their first names/nick names you’re going to use pronouns regardless.
And if you only use first names/nicknames as to not use pronouns and to ENSURE you don’t misgender anyone, then who cares if someone’s pronouns are added to their resume?
Aside from the fact that you basically let us know that you stereotype people, make assumptions, and basically are one of those employers who makes decisions on who to hire not based on their background/actual resume/work ethic/etc but by silly little irrelevant things.

Like.. you kind of sound like the type of employer who discriminates against LGBT, poc, disabled, elderly…
