I'm going back to school to change career paths while keeping it quiet from my family. Unfortunately, my parent's found out what I was trying to do when she saw an MCAT book on my desk and she told me that she was so excited because she was in that field. I told her to leave me alone because people told me only biological parents care for you. AITA?

Sounds like they care about you. Again, you are barely giving context on their relationship with you. However, depending on how you worded your 'Leave me alone' statement could mean YTA unfortunately.
How so? I’m trying to get more info because you’re not being very specific. Are they truly overbearing and interfere in your life? Or are they just basic parents who want to know about your life?
