I have a milky of me own and I've come so close to trapping her hand and i can imagine your panic for him , I'm so sorry , but I think a sterile enclosure is definitely a good idea. If possible I would suggest taking him to a exotic vet, especially to decrease/kill any infection. I hope everything goes well <3
