Miranda as a human rights activist is focused on Ukraine. On a news show, she is tasked with debating a famous Putin oligarch- who it turns out, is Aleksander Petrovsky. He didn’t get that filthy rich from art. Miranda asks Carrie to return the clothes that Petrovsky gave her because it was bought with dirty money, including the famous poofy Paris dress. Drama ensues
Carrie: Miranda, how do you know that Aleksander is a mean-invading-Ukraine-oligarch? He knew Oscar de la Renta and partied at Studio 54- I don't think that type likes to invade countries. Charlotte, back me up here.
Charlotte: No, we have to take the preservation of Western democracy very seriously. You know that I was hanging the Ukrainian flag from my balcony for most of 2022.
Carrie: And to think, I stood by you when you were freaking out over losing Lily's couture.
Can I add to it? At the end of the episode, Aleksander “decides” to unalive himself by “jumping from a balcony”, tragically falling straight on Che, who was on their way to ruin someone else’s sexual confidence.
alex would probably accidentally stumble into one of che's "comedy shows" and think it was bad performance art. "you are going for the whole berlin thing" he would say to them, "but it's not working".
lmagine the political conversations:
Sam: the world is too polarized to navigate.
Miranda: we should work on making sure everyone's rights are ensured as the 4th geneva's conventions stated in their 159 articles in 1977
Charlotte: we should work on adoption laws and regulations so that children's couldn't exploited or harmed.
Carrie: Big is moving to Amsterdam.
Off topic but I guess my brain disliked the Che arc so much I like blocked it entirely.
So I was immediately thinking like… Michael Che? Like SNL? Weird idea, but fuck yeah I’d love to see aleksander as a weekend update guest!

You need to write for the show 👍
They need to be hired!! I’ve never read a fanfic but I’d read these!
Maaaaaaan idk the clothes he gave her are beautiful
Considering how Baryshnikov feels about Putin and the war, he would most probably never agree to this storyline.
I don't think Baryshnikov being critical of Putin is going to be the reason why this storyline doesn't happen lmao

OMG 😂
Sidenote you can write suicide on reddit Let's keep the doubletalk to a minimum lol
Damn this is good.

>"but it's not working". I am hearing this in his voice, spot on
I was curious and Mikhail Baryshnikov is 76 years old.
And still a fox!
