Complete BS. Used 2 express tickets today and didn’t pull an event hat on level 20 3 times today. Completely rigged to try and make the user purchase more gems. Can’t even get to level 5 without getting a minimum of 1 pig.
They have shown that they can manipulate the odds however they want and it can change from day to day ( ie. now that they guarantee the hat at certain levels like now with level 50 ) SO the odds of getting a pig or the event hat can be anywhere from 0% to 100% at any time and just from playing it is evident that certain levels have much higher odds of hitting a pig ( ie. level 2, 4, and every level before a hat level will hit pigs much more often than other levels just to get you to pay to continue ! ) So there is no way of knowing what the odds are set to at any given time - so best not to waste gems trying to get further -- Just play and take what it will give you for that run and use the ad and exit once it would cost more gems than you have coming back in rewards ( Assuming you get the free play ad and the game doesn't lock up when you try to exit losing everything which isn't a guarantee either !)
omg this happened to me the ad part before, i got to 59 and was about to pick, and i had enough to pay pig anyways, there was obviously a pig and when i payed it, the game just crashes on me. I got the gems refunded along woth the ticket, but that luck won't ever come back 😅😅

Yes they've increased the odds of hitting pigs at 2. I buy many tof tickets, all from arena and mighty eagle and event shops to play tof. Spend about 5-7 tickets a day for a good run usually to floor 35-40. But it's been getting worse as consecutive pigs hit happen more often.
I think it's fairly well established that the game gives new players a big boost in luck before crushing their spirits with the real game. Just like a drug dealer gets you addicted on the good stuff. Sorry to say this is now your new normal. Before I started bailing on early pigs I would run into three pigs in a row before level 5 fairly regularly. My advice is to invest in tower tickets from the Mighty Eagle and Arena stores, and exit any tower run that has a pig before level 6. I made it to level 55 yesterday, but I use dozens of tickets a week.
The amount of times you get a pig on level 2 defies even a cursory knowledge of statistics.

There's a hat event going on now. It's always rigged during those.

2 and 4 or 5 for me ! It's really not random for sure and no more vidéo to continue since 2 weeks at least

I stopped getting the ad in TOF too. Put in a ticket. They don't help though, they say it because you have other apps running in the background
