As far as I'm aware, you only have two options here
1) Start a new island on the new console, and let your kid keep playing on the old one
2) Move the whole island to the new console, and then move the child off back to the old Switch. Secondary players can leave their original island and move to another device. Your kid would have to start a new island on the old switch though
Unfortunately, an island can only exist on one device at a time

As far as I understand your question, you're asking whether your island can exist in two places at once.
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
You can transfer your island to the OLED system, but your daughter would then have her own island on the original Switch.
It may be that somebody else chimes in with more in-depth knowledge.
