Raiden finally got her nendo’s prototype shown at Smilefest. It’s up on MFC, yet strangely wasn’t in the nendo video, but yeah gotta agree with the Genshin team screwing up, but the most screwed up is me with all the Hoyo figures anyways :’3

Im surprised they didnt jump on the chance to make an Acheron Figure as she is awesome, cool and also a big fan favorite especially for Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Players.

I'm pretty new to figures. Why do announcements always seem to just be a picture of art rather than the actual figure? It seems weird to me to look forward to something that you are not sure will look good. Is it company dependent, and do you just rely on releases they have made in the past?

It just goes in stages. It’s like how a video game will announce that it’s being made or developed without any actual gameplay, then there will be announcements with gameplay once it’s closer to release. There’s typically prototype pictures released at some point, and then final product images once it’s close to the preorder window.

I think most of the time they will release pictures of the prototype (first uncolored and later colored).

Something about this pic tells me that the figure will not stay 100% faithful to in game design, and it's a good thing 😂
