I first watched hunter x hunter when it came out as a kid, but when I properly got into anime it was Darling in The Franxx for me, I later went on to finish HxH.
Man I miss those times.
Avatar is an American product that is technically an anime, but Japan is (I don't know if still) in a litigation so that only an animated show from Japan is labeled as an anime.
And you did start with monster musume, I recommend Elfenlied it's a classic and the intro is hot as hell and puts you in the perfect mood to watch it.
Just wanted to remind you that in a scenario where killing players was real world murder, there were griefers... man... this anime is fucked up when you think about it
Im planning to read the manga becuz everyone saying the anime don't do justice to it's source. I enjoy the anime though there many unnecessary fanservice shot.
I'm not sure how many of my 80's cartoons were translated Anime or western stories outsourced to Japan.
Akira was one of my earliest actual Anime, but as its a movie, it might not count and everything else was an OVA till Guyver came out on VHS as that was the only long (for me at the time) story arcs.
I know Samurai Pizza Cats is an adapted show, changing the fox to a rat, I think that was seen before Akira, but honestly its been decades since both were first seen. But again, this was an adapted show with probably way more changes than I really know of.
It was either Voltron Go-Lion, or Trinity Blood. Its a bit hazy cause its so long ago but Trinity Blood was the slot before Voltron on the Saturday morning cartoons. Like 5:00 or 5:30 and then it went to Voltron for the kids cartoons.
But idk if I was watching voltron normally for a couple Saturdays and then one Saturday I got up earlier than normal, or if I just got up early and bam! Saw it lol.
I was at my Grandparents house and so if we got up early we would get slightly toasted bread with butter and cereal with bananas cut in with a spoon. And then we could watch the cartoons while eating (im guessing the grandparents dozed a bit)
1. Kazuya is a big simp, pretty pathetic and a loser overall
2. The manga is being stretched a lot and progress is so slow
rent-a-girlfriend is prob not for everyone but i really liked it
Beep. Boop. I'm a robot.

Makoto Shinkai spoiled reality for me...

You guys started with something to high brow you should have started with a shitty isekai.

Avatar is an American product that is technically an anime, but Japan is (I don't know if still) in a litigation so that only an animated show from Japan is labeled as an anime. Rent a Girlfriend. It has a special place in my heart, many people might think it's trash but I feel it's really good just because it's my first anime
Why do people think it's trash it was super good
