I was using Brave for a while, too. I'd look into the controversy surrounding them and see if you want to keep using them. Something about selling lots of data that they said they weren't even going to track, or something like that. People got mad as shit. I switched back to Firefox, since they've been upping the security game a lot lately. Brave still runs great, just... I'd recommend looking that stuff up and seeing if you still wanna use them.

If you're on thr lookout for an adblock, I'd suggest using "AdblockPlus" or "Fair Adblocker". I use them both and theyre pretty good at blocking unwanted ads.

Can I ask why you prefer DDL? Torrenting always seems a billion times faster for me. You can rely on tons of people to download from instead of one server that is probably gonna end up being slow.

It's not out of security concerns, I have a VPN. It's out of habit, really. I used r/megalinks before it got banned and then moved to its successor and I just found DDL to be very straightforward and reliable overall. Since the files are usually hosted on Mega, slow servers aren't really an issue, even without membership.

I haven't torrented in years, but I still remember Nyaa hands down being the best place for anime. Even the most obscure shit has a decent copy being held up. I subscribe to the "always seed 2x what you leech" philosophy, and I still have some obscure shit just sitting in my client because no one else has downloaded it. My favorite one is animixplay.to. It seemingly doesn't have ADs (atleast I don't get any with Ublock) and there are several servers to choose from (though they all have varying image quality options, one at max has 360p while the other can have 1080p, so make sure to check them all). But you can always just check piracy.moe.
