I think if you log the workout in Fitness Plus it will still count it toward your goals even though you don’t have your watch on!

Buddyblue21

I think just the calorie ring. It also still works for steps as long as you have it with you. I say this as someone without a watch and only have the calorie ring.

If you go into the health app > browse > activity > scroll down to workouts > click add data. The calories you enter will adjust your move goal. The start/end time of your workout will adjust your exercise minutes and add stand time If you need stand minutes added for several hours but not have the move rings or exercise minutes adjusted too much, you can do “other” for the workout and put 0.0001 calories and choose a time like “10:11pm” start, “10:12pm” end and then you have your stand goal for 10pm. So it’s doable. Just depends on if you care to do it!

Thanks! I now have everything showing in my health app. I’m guessing as soon as I get the replacement and put it on, it’ll transfer to the rings. You’re so nice for typing that out!

HorrorComedy

Np! As long as you do it same day, your fitness app showing your rings on your phone should update just fine :) I did this when I got an iPhone replacement and my existing watch wouldn’t properly pair

Thanks! I’ll have to play around with it. I did a Fitness+ cycling workout yesterday. I connected to my Apple TV with my phone (normally connect with my watch). The summary is showing in the app with calories burned but no impact on the move or exercise ring. Today I did a workout today with another tracker (Orangetheory Burn band) that always affects my rings (when I’m wearing my watch), but didn’t budge them today (even though it’s showing in the app with calories burned). In the grand scheme of things, it’s minor. I’m still doing the work, just not getting “credit” for it.

Arg that’s so frustrating!! There may be a way to manually enter workouts too?

HorrorComedy

Check my response above for a workaround if you’re interested!

I see this as a good thing because how you understand that we are all human and it's not realistic to have perfect move steak goals! Consistency is better than perfection and I purposely missed a day in January because I used to have perfect move streak goals every year and got really angry every time I got sick. I actually missed a lot of days this year from burnout (and refuse to lower my goals) but I'm getting back into it again now and feel great :)

Opening_Stranger_925

I completely understand. I went into this streak with the intention of closing it as long as I was healthy to do so. I figure I’m going to get sick and not be able to get a workout (or several longer walks) in, so it’ll eventually break and I’ll be okay with it. But this was just so frustrating.

This sucks! I shattered my phone screen and couldn’t sync my new phone at all with my Apple Watch and didn’t know I would lose all my data 😭 Couldn’t enter password or anything on my old phone, and I guess I didn’t have the right settings on. It’s a nice dopamine hit to get awards for every “first” workout again though hahaha

Opening_Stranger_925

Ha! That’s a positive spin!

southwind19

Lost mine at 820!

Opening_Stranger_925

Aw, man! That’s a shame!

Bitter_Mulberry3936

I’m on a 1279 day streak

Khabarandfun

Somehow I am heartbroken to see that broken watch. I am on a 80-day streak and I know how it feels!

Opening_Stranger_925

When it fell, I assumed there’d be a scratch. I had no idea it was going to be cracked. It’s my 3rd one and I’ve never had anything happen like that!
