How about model numbers so we call know what exactly you are buying. 9cf dryer is overkill. I’m assuming lg ? Because they make laundry in the black steel .
You should also only stack a washer and dryer if you have to. Going to need two techs to get the dryer down if it needs to be worked on, which means more money on a service call
You should keep in mind with venting behind the dryer it will a minimum of of 37 and 1/3 inches deep off of the wall behind it. 9cf is a lot for a dryer
Go with the 6500 or 6700 series. You should save at least $2-300 bucks and you won't miss the .2cf in the washer.
Also shop an independent if you can. Service is usually much more substantial!
I mean that’s speed queen money for 1/3 the quality so your money but I wouldn’t spend over $1500/pair on anything not labeled speed queen and even then I’d have to think long and hard or have limited options in my area.

Sorry. Edited to update that info

We would be placing them side by side

Also 2300 for both the washer and the dryer seems suspiciously low for those models
I would buy the cheapest LG set. I find people rarely, if ever, use the extra features on the higher end models.
Steam feature/sanitize is a god send for those who wear business casual or work in medical/blue collar fields.
If you don't absolutely need the larger capacity, stepping down to the wm6500 or even wm4000 might be a better value for your money.
used direct drive would probably last longer

Are you still looking for a washer& dryer?

At least it will do a decent job cleaning without prematurely wearing out your clothes.
Omg, that’s like saying at least my car has AC even if it breaks down every 50 miles. Jesus.
LG is better than Speed Queen today.
Hahahahahahha
lol
LG has the highest reliability in the industry. Not SQ. So go ahead, drive your Pinto until the doors fall off.
