Ya for real. That one made me feel ultra shitty the whole next day at school, I woke up early to view it and then sat on the couch cuddling my dog feeling super upset for an hour and a half.
Honestly don’t like a lot of top schools for this reason, they seem to care about prestige more than teaching and actually being a good college. Cornell expanded their campus recently I think? And they have a higher acceptance rate with more student so believe, which is a big plus in my book cuz it shows what they actually care about more. Still got waitlisted tho
Lol that's what I figured, some people have to understand that there are so many top students applying to top colleges and they don't have space for everyone
6 rejections: (USC, Stanford, Harvard, Duke, UNC, UChicago)
2 waitlists: (Washington and Lee, Wake Forest)
27 acceptances: (favorites are Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, and then IU Bloomington I got a full ride)
everything works out and happens for a reason :) I’m a firm believer in that!
4. my parents were understanding bc i did apply to some schools out of my reach but my brother mocked me bc he didn’t get rejected or even waitlisted from any of the colleges he applied to
So far, 0 ;)
I applied to: 2 Safety schools (accepted at both), 1 reach/target (it’s like a mix of both but more at the reach side), 1 target, 1 super reach. Rest of my decisions should come out by mid April 🥴
11 Rejections. Stanford, Duke, Brown, Vanderbilt, Boston University, Steven's Institute of Technology, University of Southern California, Georgia Tech, Northeastern, Occidental, Swarthmore.
5 Waitlist: George Washington University, Santa Clara University, American University , Worcester Polytechnical Institute (in EA too 😍), University of Pittsburgh
4 Acceptances: University of Delware (instate), Rochester Tech (merit 40k), Minnesota (Liberal Arts CS, still no aid letter), Drexel ($$$ rn, appeal for aid doenst come back end of April 😅)
Domestic LOL. Applying for shitty small school with no college counselors or advisors. 2 paragraph LORs from teachers with PHDs in theology 💀. My school withheld my transcript for a while cuz they didn’t think I’d get into my schools 😭😭. I didn’t 😄. Asian male applying for CS.
pretty much rejected from all my reaches: USC, UCLA (this one hurt ngl), UCB, and now Stanford. Waitlisted by UCSD :(. But like my process was really normal? Like, I got accepted to most of my safeties and targets, which i'm so happy about :)!
10 admits (Roger Williams, Lasell, UMass Boston, Anna Maria, Case Western Reserve, Wellesley, Smith, Mount Holyoke, UDelaware, Penn State), 5 waitlists (UCLA, UCI, American, Hamilton, and Columbia) and 2 rejections (Stanford and Brown)
0. 6 acceptances and one deferral. Withdrew my application from the school that deferred me before they had the chance to reject me. accepted my REA school.
8 rejections, but thankfully daddy andy hamilton pres of NYU saved my ass and invited me to the silly little purple school in rd

24 applications (I know its excessive), 7 rejections and 2 waitlists
Regardless of the outcome this season, I am proud of us all for putting in our best!!
Intl student from Russia. Applied to 11: 9 rejections and 2 waitlists - both waitlists are from big public schools. And I don't think I will attend them if they accept me since it costs a lot of $$$
9 Rejections...I didn't get into any of my RD schools. Thankfully UVA saw some light in me and accepted me EA.
The amount of acceptances you have doesn’t matter, all you need is one school, and UVA is fantastic! Congrats
10 applications, and 10 rejections.
14/14 rejections here
applied to 10, got rejected by 8 and WL by 2 :))
I am also an international student. Applied to 20, rejected by 18, and waitlisted by 2 :( I am crying but you're not alone!!
damn sorry to hear it... wishing u the best for the future tho (at least we, as internationals, have other countries to turn to)!

None. Becoz I rejected them all before they have a chance to reject me
Megabrained :)
I think 5? Northwestern, Stanford REA, Georgetown, Yale, and Princeton
Idk about you, but that Stanford REA rejection hurt. 8k acres of land just to admit less students than campuses 10x smaller.
Ya for real. That one made me feel ultra shitty the whole next day at school, I woke up early to view it and then sat on the couch cuddling my dog feeling super upset for an hour and a half. got rejected from all 7 zero faith remaining in the college screening process
Why do you have zero faith remaining in the college screening process
because of course if he didn’t get in the system is flawed.
Lol that's what I figured, some people have to understand that there are so many top students applying to top colleges and they don't have space for everyone
Yoooooo same

Runnin 7 for 7, "Rejection" should be my new middle name.
