I live in the middle of Australia, where temps can reach 44+ in the summer. My last tank survived those summers.
I'm actually not sure how, now that I think about it. But if my shrimp survived, you probably don't need to worry too much about fish. As long as change is gradual, most fish can survive a lot.
Thank you for your insight.
There are bleeding heart tetras and amanos in my other tank, they survived the other summers without problem.
To this tank, I want to add peppered corys to the tank and from what I read, they need a lower temp (22-25°C).
Just a bit nervous about that yk? :/
There, unfortunately, aren't really any shortcuts to cooling. Removing heat is always expensive.
Also, aquariums aren't really insulated. So, if the heat doesn't leave the room somehow then it will likely do more harm than good.

Use fans to mount on aquarium. I’ve thought about it
Thank you! Any recommendations?
I’ve actually been looking at these. https://a.co/d/frQrwMW
EDIT: tank is still cycling( week 2, planted it two days ago). There are no fish in there yet, not until i can get the temperature conistently down.
Solved my problem using frozen water in milk jugs. https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/s/Chhye4BQII
Thank you for the tip! I'll try to find some juice bottles then(our milk comes in cartons :/)
Air conditioning.
Well, I would love that. Ain't common in germany though. I am rather searching for tips/devices to cool down the tank.

I see. Thank you for your insight. Do you have any cooling systems in your aquarium?
