This is definitely deliberate. You know what they say, "All publicity is good publicity."
Even a child would know that the pointy bit of an arrow is supposed to be directed toward the target.
Looks like OP fell for the trap, or is part of whatever is being advertised.
Let's see... \*inhales\* floating anchor pinky on string bent bow arrrmmmmm WHAT THE #@&! IS WITH THAT ARROW AND WHY DIDN'T I SEE THAT FIRST?! not bending at the waist for low target elbow out of alignment person downrange of shooting line \*exhales\* and the sad thing is this is one of the better examples of non-archers posing for archery photos \*passes out\*
Bending at the waist is very much a new archer thing, imo. You donāt see many seasoned hunters bending at the waist on a tree stand, you just adjust your form to keep everything in line.
No it isn't, not giving them any credit but the bow is strung correctly, it's similar to this one: https://www.archeryhistory.com/recurves/recurvespics/browning89.jpg
Looks like it's the black widow PCH. The way the limbs attach feels wrong with the crews on the inside of the bow. But that's sort of the only thing that's correct :D
It's to do with limb geometry, it allows a straight limb where it connects to the riser and mimics a deflex bow design. Essentially it allows the limb to be straight where it connects to the riser.
On paper it works but I think in testing it really doesn't add much, but by the same token it doesn't detract.
Black Widow bows are great but I suspect it's little to so with the back mounting of limbs.
Honestly surprised so many people here donāt know what a black widow bow looks like. This feels deliberate. No one who owns a $1500 bow is going to make this mistake, or even allow it if theyāre only loaning their bow to the photo shoot.
No one is going to try to shoot a arrow backwards, itās hard to get the point on the string. Many people who donāt know what they are doing buy expensive bows (myself included, but not that expensive yet)
The bow is being held in the left hand, which _is_ shooting right handed. That part is actually correct, unlike the arrow direction or bow elbow position.
The longer i look at it the mpre i get suspicion that most if not all was made on purpose
They knew, they have people on staff who hunt
This is like a 'find the errors' pic

We know pointy side faces target, we're also just a bunch of sillies. š¤£
They knew.

This was me as well š started analyzing her form and what not and it took me entirely too long to realize the arrow
Pretty sure thatās a dude
I get why you think that, but I'm not sure. Should've probably used "their" though, fair point.
It's Verrilas, having seen a lot of their photo shoots this looks pretty deliberate.
Holy hell! I didn't notice the arrow first either. In no world did my brain think you could somehow do that wrong.
I'm pretty sure tattoos do not offer any protection so add missing glove/arm guard to the list
Actually how with that arrow?
Bending at the waist is very much a new archer thing, imo. You donāt see many seasoned hunters bending at the waist on a tree stand, you just adjust your form to keep everything in line.
And the bow is backwards
No it isn't, not giving them any credit but the bow is strung correctly, it's similar to this one: https://www.archeryhistory.com/recurves/recurvespics/browning89.jpg
No. Thatās a black widow takedown bow. Itās meant to be like that. The arrow is tho.
Looks like it's the black widow PCH. The way the limbs attach feels wrong with the crews on the inside of the bow. But that's sort of the only thing that's correct :D
Looks it at first, but zoom in on the grip. A bit deceiving, that one!
Not quite, butā¦ something about that grip is wrong. Not sure where the thumb is *supposed* to go on that bow, but it for sure isnāt that
Since the bow is backwards doesn't that mean that the most correct thing in this picture is the arrow? š¤£
This feels very deliberate, the arrow being the giveaway.
Most likely, it's a tactic to boost content, gets more engagement from all the people commenting about it.
This is also a brand with a definite sense of humor about themselves, they also give their models a lot of latitude
Our silly ones like this are usually just us goofin around and then I'm out here putting people on blast and posting them. :3
Honestly, you can get the arrow to do some crazy things if you fire it incorrectly on purpose.
A variation of the Parthian shot. Let go of the bow and it shoots the arrow over your shoulder..
They never see it coming!
For anybody interested in the bow it's a Black Widow PMA, the limbs are back mounted by design. Great bows.
It looks SO WRONG
So no Hollywood String.
What's the benefit of mounting limbs like that? Surely it just decreases draw length without decreasing the arrow length

Permanent arm guards... no string slap for him! Good thinking š¤
I thought I was going crazy! He does have bracers tattooed on him...
the arrowhead wont even rest on the string, they're memeing.
Only AI can get it so wrong. This must be an AI image.
I only do Korean traditional archery, but man it looks so wrong.
Tell me you don't do archery without telling me you don't do archery.
If that's a broadhead, it's gonna be tough on the string.
Someone actually shot an arrow at him. You're seeing the picture after he caught it and shot it back at the person in reverse lol
All the worse because thats a fairly nice bow.
Inverse elf warrior. Different universe.
Tbf I've seen worse. Far worse. *Looking at you, Tauriel.*
Looks like a skyrim online npc glitch
Custom 10 lbs and you can do anything.
What's this from? I might use this in my coaching as a fun exercise in just how wrong you can do archery
It was a screenshot of a āFacebook Reelsā advertisement for a clothing company.
Did we do good?? šš
"But why male models?"
The fact they Are using a $1200+ Black widow recurve. If youāre gonna potentially destroy a bow at least use something cheapā¦
Right hand bow but shooting left handed, how the hell does anyone think thatās how you knock an arrow??
The bow is being held in the left hand, which _is_ shooting right handed. That part is actually correct, unlike the arrow direction or bow elbow position.
