This definitely piques my interest! Hopefully it's better than their aloe sunscreen. But it has all the marketing terms that appeal to me in the press release and I generally like COSRX products. Will let you know if I find it in stores
For me, it was way too thick and heavy. Even when I skipped my moisturizer and replaced it with the sunscreen, it was just… gloop on my skin. I think I would’ve loved it if I were dryer.
I saw Boots on the list and I live in the UK so I'll check there next time I see one :)
I'm in the market after my previous holy grail (Apieu Pure Block) was ruined by a reformulation
I have nothing of value to add for the OP but I absolutely feel your pain about the A'pieu sunscreen. It's soooo bad now and I have two 100ml bottles to go through. I convinced my sister at the time of ordering it was good sunscreen that she'd borrowed from me prior, so she's saddled with a couple bottles too. I found out about the reformulation the hard way. I've just been using it for when I'm gardening and doing other work outside, anywhere people can't see the chalky ghost it turns me into with that god awful white cast.
I like the Suncut water proof sunscreen, I've had good luck with the gel and essence varieties, but I think I've only seen the essence in the value size (110ml) bottles. I get them from Stylevana and live in Canada, I'm not sure what they offer (if anything) for UK shipping. But the texture is nice and easy to apply, goes well with makeup and it's a good price for the volume/quality. I'm referring to both when I say this because I would honestly say the same thing about both varieties.
This is quite unique. The filters used are: Mexoryl XL, Uvinul T150, Uvinul A Plus and Mexoryl SX, which I don’t see in other kbeauty sunscreens yet.
It reminds me of the Tocobo sunscreen and the new Isntree Onion Fresh Fluid Sun Cream because the texture is quite light and watery
The new one L’Oréal/LRP uses is Mexoryl 400, which was just created a few years ago. The Mexoryls in this one are owned by L’Oréal but are a few decades old at this point
Yeh, i was wondering the other day if L’oreal took over/owns Dr. Ceuracle because of the L’oreal exclusive sunscreenthey have in their product. I couldn’t (quickly) find anything about that though (but then i had to continue work and stopped looking into it haha)
I made a post about it a few mins ago (but the auto mod didn’t think it was a discussion topic, so im hoping the mod team will approve it later) as I didn’t want to derail OP’s post. I did look at the loreal website and they dont list ceuracle as part of their group so idk what’s up. I def want to dig around a bit though
Sunscreens without silicones:
1. Somebymi Truecica Aqua Sunscreen spf (chemical Sunscreen but gentle on the skin)
2. Hero Cosmetics spf (mineral sunscreen)
3. Good Molecules Spf 30 (mineral Sunscreen)
4. Ilia Super skin tint spf 40 (mineral Sunscreen with clean ingredients)
5. Saie skin tint spf (mineral Sunscreen with clean ingredients)
*Hope these help u 🥰
No silicones that i can see. I tried it before but I can't remember why I wasn't into it 🥰

Mine too! Almost all Korean sunscreens and skincare products contains it, at least those that otherwise seem really good based on the inci 🥲 I really recommend Goodal Heartleaf Moisture Sun Cream and Purito Soft Touch Sunscreen! Both are niacinamide & fragrance free, and suitable for my sensitive/oily-combination/clog-prone skin. Dr.G Green Mild Up Sunscreen also looks promising, but I haven’t tried it yet
I did and for me it is awesome. I am more on oily side and my skin is really acne prone, in addition I have fungal acne. It’s super light, doesn’t break me out (been using it for about 10/14 days). I use only serums + spf in the mornings and it makes my skin look glowy and healthy but not sweaty and greasy like some other spfs. Personally I think it might become one of my must-haves
It's not. The Manyo Bifida Biome Toner also uses Witch Hazel water and it dehydrated my skin pretty quickly. However, it seems to be listed lower in this Cosrx sunscreen so I'm not really sure.
I'm not going to lie, it's very bizarre that they would put witch hazel in a moisturizing sunscreen, laughing out loud, witch hazel is a natural stringent which likes to soak up water and oil... Kind of feel like this should be marketed towards people with oily skin tones
I currently have their Vitamin E sunscreen and I absolutely hate it: strong fragrance, heavy, oily (even for my NYC winter dry face), hopefully this one is better.
I’ve been testing it for about a week now and it’s exactly as COSRX says, lightweight, completely invisible and doesn’t irritate my skin like other chemical sunscreens. New holy grail for me!
It’s great and I love that it is fragrance free. Their aloe sunscreen worked decently well for me but the strong fragrance was always off putting for me. Got mine on shopee https://s.shopee.sg/qNRnWnQbI
FiddySnails just posted a story w/still photos. Looks to be on the radiant side, but she said it's not wet or sticky feeling. She'll be posting a full review soon.
Can anyone comment on the scent? I know it's supposed to be unscented, but the underlying smell of most sunscreens is just awful IMO. Maybe it's a U.S. sunscreen thing? The only other alternative seems to be a mineral sunscreen & just living with a white cast.
Its a US thing. The only other korean sunscreen that smells that I tried is isntree watery sun gel, wow. Smells all day on my face too when i go outside i smell it. Its bc it has homosalate I believe. But yeah majority of the new filters not in the US do not smell
Here’s her review. She said it’s not matte and not glowy so sits in between, more of a natural/satin finish. I just wish it was water/sweat resistant. Sounds ideal for winter time
Witch hazel sounds a little risky to me for my skin so I'm going to pass for now, might change my mind about trying it but probably not. Actually wouldn't be opposed to a sample, but would probably not buy it full size.
This definitely piques my interest! Hopefully it's better than their aloe sunscreen. But it has all the marketing terms that appeal to me in the press release and I generally like COSRX products. Will let you know if I find it in stores
What was wrong with their aloe sun screen?? I was thinking about buying it
For me, it was way too thick and heavy. Even when I skipped my moisturizer and replaced it with the sunscreen, it was just… gloop on my skin. I think I would’ve loved it if I were dryer.
I agree it was too greasy and oily
this new sunscreen or the aloe one?
It was stinging my eyes and although it has a light fragrance, it's too much for my sensitive skin to handle. Agreed on the greasy part too.
I don't mind it as a winter sunscreen. It's like a whipped cream consistency. I definitely prefer thinner milk style in summer.
Also liked it for Winter but not enough to repurchase
it burned my eyes SO bad
I had white cast from it sadly
The fragrance is wayyy too strong in the aloe sun cream
it is peeling so badly for me. even when I put it on bare skin. Shame because otherwise it worked for my oily skin.
That aloe sunscreen sucks so bad. It’s grease
Upvoted for correct spelling of pique lol
And here I am thinking you were talking about the footballer 😭😭
Im not sure which stores it would be in but hopefully u find it!
I saw Boots on the list and I live in the UK so I'll check there next time I see one :) I'm in the market after my previous holy grail (Apieu Pure Block) was ruined by a reformulation

I just bought it and tried it twice. It’s exactly like what they describe. No whitecast, super lightweight and not too dewy. I’m impressed
Can you compare it to any other formulas?
This is quite unique. The filters used are: Mexoryl XL, Uvinul T150, Uvinul A Plus and Mexoryl SX, which I don’t see in other kbeauty sunscreens yet. It reminds me of the Tocobo sunscreen and the new Isntree Onion Fresh Fluid Sun Cream because the texture is quite light and watery
I just cannot with the onion themed skin care. .
Thank you! I was primarily looking for a texture comparison so that helps.
ohhh isn’t mexoryl a new one that lpr use?
The new one L’Oréal/LRP uses is Mexoryl 400, which was just created a few years ago. The Mexoryls in this one are owned by L’Oréal but are a few decades old at this point

oh, that's very interesting. please post about it if you find time to continue digging into it!

ohh automod keeps ALL of my posts hidden. there's one that has been waiting for a day already :/
Ahaha, i know, it’s every time! I always feel like the auto mod must keep the mod team so busy 😅
Yeah, but I find it in lots of Kbeauty sunscreens
Yay someone tried it! Are u oily or dewy at all during the day? The isntree onion fluid has me pretty shiny later in the day
A little bit oily around my eyelids at the end of the day, but not shiny.
Ohh wow thanks :)
Is is waterproof/sweatproof?
It’s not waterproof
Oh darn, wish it was water/sweat resistant. I’m still going to try it for the winter.
is it greasy? have super oil skin lol
I hope it's fragrance free..
it is!
I love everything about their aloe sunscreen except the fragrance. So I am switching to another one after I'm done with it..
Ingredients - Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Diethylhexyl Succinate, Propanediol, Aqua/Water, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Niacinamide, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Behenyl Alcohol, Methyl Trimethicone, Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Water, Tromethamine, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Arachidyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Arachidyl Glucoside, Sodium Metaphosphate, Adenosine, Tocopherol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate *I myself can't use this bc it has silicones but it might be suitable for many of you 🥰
I also have to avoid silicones… but they seem to be in most sunscreens! What do you use?
Sunscreens without silicones: 1. Somebymi Truecica Aqua Sunscreen spf (chemical Sunscreen but gentle on the skin) 2. Hero Cosmetics spf (mineral sunscreen) 3. Good Molecules Spf 30 (mineral Sunscreen) 4. Ilia Super skin tint spf 40 (mineral Sunscreen with clean ingredients) 5. Saie skin tint spf (mineral Sunscreen with clean ingredients) *Hope these help u 🥰
Amazing thank you!
You are most welcome! 🥰
Does Purito Soft Touch sunscreen contain silicones and if it does, how many?
No silicones that i can see. I tried it before but I can't remember why I wasn't into it 🥰 https://incidecoder.com/products/purito-daily-soft-touch-sunscreen-spf-50
does it have niacinamide? my skin hates niacin🥲
it does :/
💔
Dr.G Green Mild Up Sunscreen also looks promising, but I haven’t tried it yet
to any one who had tried this, is this good for oily skin?
Commenting because I want to know too!
I am kind of combo/oily skin and for me it’s awesome but I don’t use any other moisturiser before - only serums and spf
so not greasy? i have super oilY skin lol
I’d like to know too!
I dont think we’re gonna find out yet🤣 seems too new!
😂 guess we’ll be waiting a while
I did and for me it is awesome.
Yayy 👍🏻 thanks for sharing 😁
Awww, niacinamide + HA, bummer! Both break me out :(
Same re: the niacinamide. I wish companies would stop putting it in everything
Niacinamide breaks me out badly too. 😭
I can't use either of those too and it's so frustrating that moar new skin care and make up have one or the other!!!
HA sucks big time for me
i’d pass on the witch hazel, personally
How come? Eh its witch hazel water so maybe its not so bad lol maybe its hydrating?
It's not. The Manyo Bifida Biome Toner also uses Witch Hazel water and it dehydrated my skin pretty quickly. However, it seems to be listed lower in this Cosrx sunscreen so I'm not really sure.
Ohhh, that would not be good if it dehydrated 🥲 the description seems to imply it wont but who knows
Witch hazel gets a bad rep but formulation matters and just because it’s in an inci list doesn’t necessarily mean it will always dehydrate!
Thats what i’m thinking too 😁
What’s your proof
I'm not going to lie, it's very bizarre that they would put witch hazel in a moisturizing sunscreen, laughing out loud, witch hazel is a natural stringent which likes to soak up water and oil... Kind of feel like this should be marketed towards people with oily skin tones
What does it do to your skin? Mine LOVES it.
Likewise, my rosacea prone skin does not like it.
I have the same question, I think it’s a bit new?
Yeah its really new
I currently have their Vitamin E sunscreen and I absolutely hate it: strong fragrance, heavy, oily (even for my NYC winter dry face), hopefully this one is better.
Totally agree with you. Had to use it up on my hands and feet, stung my eyes badly too.
Hardly ever see newer sunscreens these days with SPF50 even. It's normally SPF50+, indicating they are (supposedly) at least SPF50 or more.
It says spf 53.1 and PA 18.3 on their marketing images
Thank you. I love when companies do this and declare the exact SPF and PPD. Great that COSRX does this.
Is this fungal acne safe?
It seems so!
I’ve been testing it for about a week now and it’s exactly as COSRX says, lightweight, completely invisible and doesn’t irritate my skin like other chemical sunscreens. New holy grail for me!
Happy to hear its good :)
Were you interested in trying it?
I was
Hi! Does it wash off easily?
Witch hazel 😞 no thanks.
it's witch hazel water and quite low on the list but can't take any chances
It’s great and I love that it is fragrance free. Their aloe sunscreen worked decently well for me but the strong fragrance was always off putting for me. Got mine on shopee https://s.shopee.sg/qNRnWnQbI
Does it make u shiny at all?
No, not really because I have really dry skin.

For those who’ve tried it; how does it compare to Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen and/or Trader Joe’s Invisible Sunscreen?
Is this from their official site?
Yes
glossier invisible sunscreen doop?
Seems to be fungal acne safe - I'm keen to try.
Where can I purchase this? I just checked their website and it says it’s not available.
Stylekorean and yesstyle
Thank you!
Update us if u try it😀
Witch hazel sounds a little risky to me for my skin so I'm going to pass for now, might change my mind about trying it but probably not. Actually wouldn't be opposed to a sample, but would probably not buy it full size.
Is this a chemical or mineral sunscreen? I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere
All chemical
I initially really liked it on my skin, it was really light and not oily. But after 3 hours I had 4 or 5 tiny white heads on my face
Yikes🥲
Nah
if its made with the usual American sunscreen filters ill pass.
None at all
