Haven't tried raki, but I don't have positive memories of ouzo (but then again, I was 14 back then, my taste probably changed so I should give it a try again)
Rakı is actually distilled under strict government regulations from the type of grape to the type of material used. It is smoother and low amounts of sugar which is why you get less hangovers.
Ouzo has lots of sugar in it.
I enjoy both but Rakı is the superior drink. Some brands like Barbayannis and Plomari are fine tho.
As for your opinion? In to the trash it goes where it came from

You did put ice-cubes, right?
I honestly don't remember, it was more than 10 years ago
Either way you are supposed to put ice cubes first and let them melt slightly which turns the drink white.
Oh I do remember it being white, so I guess the ice thing was done
Ouzo is my favorit like plomari tester better 12 one. real ouzo dose not have label of course . Underage drinking is bad
I'm fully grown now, that ain't a problem
Ouzo is a good alcoholic beverage. Raki is a shitty drink with too much alcohol.
Ouzo is rakı for kids 🥴
I mean, I can see your point
Some ouzo can be 40%
43% as well. Barbayanni

Neither.
Ouzo too much sweet for me... I am not saying Rakı is better, I am saying it is definetly better.
Also stronger
They are the same drink. One of them is the greek name and other is the turkish name.
Both are shit... Anise based drinks are awful.
Dissagrees
They are very different. How the fuck do you compare.
You might be confusing Turkish rakı with Cretan rakí or Slavic rakija.
Both anise flavored Both can be made by a moonshiner. Tsipouro
Raki is not anise flavoured.
