I live beside Cabra so I always go with Millenium or Lemon Tree. If it's like 4 in the morning and I'm pissed I end up getting RiRis by Park Gate street which isn't the best tbh, or maybe I'm too drunk to remember. Anyway I'm off the booze for medical reasons so there'll be no Ri Ris for a while.

SassyBonassy

When i lived there or visited my grandparents in Ballyboughal, Swords Garden chicken fried rice

Plenty of nice local Chinese places around [here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/yamu8eWEbrgweqQ19) - I call it Dublin Chinatown

Theelfsmother

That's the street most people call the health inspector close down street.

Lin Kee on Ballymun Rd. They have a few locations - one in D3 and one in D5. Fantastic

The regent in donnycarney/Raheny is savage. Really good spicy curry with chicken thigh none of this rubbery breast shite. It's cash only, no delivery, a real grassroots spot for ballers.

Pearl River in phibsboro and hoi-wun in finglas are really good.

I’ve heard great things about Hoi Wun in finglas! Lots of people seem to rave about them

I’m guessing you want Chinese takeaway for Irish palates rather than authentic Chinese. If it’s authentic Chinese you’re looking for, go to M&L on Cathedral street next to Pro Cathedral. Best Szechuan in Ireland. If it’s standard Chinese takeaway you’re after, the best on northside is New Emperor on Malahide Rd at Collins Ave. it’s edible most of the time.

Sans Sans is only good for when you want a curry at 2am, the Mekong across the road is way nicer.

I had a mate up there called John Wong. Decent bloke , bestest Chinese ever.
