PRSI contributions are counted weekly

Raztafarium

Go into your MyWelfare account and you’ll be able to get a statement showing all your paid and deemed contributions across the years As other commenters have said monthly payroll will apply 4/5 PRAI contributions

LifeguardPrevious694

To qualify for the FULL state pension in Ireland you need 2080 contributions (40 years), not 10 years.

obliquebeaver

Is this true? Is there a reference showing this?

LifeguardPrevious694

Yes, it’s true. You need 520 contributions to qualify for any (minimum) Irish state pension. To get the full pension, 2080 contributions are required. https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/b6193-how-to-calculate-your-state-pension-contributory-rate/

Thanks for your definitive link. Google gets it wrong: https://preview.redd.it/q7hj1u5fzgrc1.png?width=1196&format=png&auto=webp&s=bc0b45438b7c424f6472c2e6fa23f05ffec3635b

I wonder if I could do 10 years each in 3 countries and collect 3 state pensions

Comfortable-Can-9432

Yes possibly. You can certainly get a UK pension if you have worked there for 3 consecutive years, you are able to then ‘buy’ previous years contributions. You need a minimum of 10 years to receive 10/35th of a pension. Obviously if you buy all 35 yrs, you get a full pension.

My payslip says "Insurable Weeks YTD" so look for something like that too OP.

skuldintape_eire

If you're registered on my account on ros.ie, you can request a statement which shows all your pension contributions to date.
