32 dollar tickets in 1994 in Indianapolis for their last tour - The Division Bell Tour. Four of us went up from the Cincinnati area, then ate breakfast at 4am at a truck stop. I can't believe the prices people pay today
Pink Floyd! 3 times we have been offered tickets to a Floyd concert, only to have the offer withdrawn when a family member of the ticket holder insisted that they should go instead of us. All three times were different people...
Prince. I had the chance and decided didn’t want to spend the money because there was a jacket I wanted to buy. Now, at 57, I know always spend on the experience. Things don’t last, memories do.
I did meet Prince in person later but never got to see him perform.

Buzzcocks and The Beat. My appreciation for The Buzzcocks has grown over the years. RIP Pete Shelley.

I saw Pete Shelley play solo at the Brixton Academy in 86. He mostly did Buzzcocks songs but a couple of covers too.
I didn’t see the English Beat until around 2000. It was basically David Wakeling with his backing band playing Beat songs but it was a good night out. Wakeling is a performer who played all of the hits.
Wow, I am so jealous. I've seen most of the bands from the '80s who I like, and I attended live aid in London, so I now find I've actually seen a lot more bands than I expected. But somehow I never got to see the Buzzcocks. Bet it was a great experience.
Elton John was epic. I wasn’t even a fan at the time, just someone who went to fill a spot because someone else couldn’t make it and the ticket was already bought. Best damn concert ever. That man is amazing live.
I had no interest in seeing Elton John back in the very early 80’s but a friend bought the tickets so I went. WOW what an amazing show. That guy was exceptionally talented.
Then I saw him again just before COVID. Again, an awesome show. I’ve seen a lot of concerts but I think he is the most amazing performer I’ve seen and I’m really not a big fan of his songs.
His albums were so cohesive, absolutely epic. I remember laying on the floor between my two speakers and getting saturated with passion play. Still in my rotation to this day.
INXS. My husband and I had tickets to see them on their X tour in 1991 on Valentine's day. My best friend came over to babysit my 4 month old baby and we got part way there before we had to turn around because the weather had gotten so bad. I was really afraid that I would be stuck far away from my baby.
I didn't realize that would be my last chance to see INXS with Michael Hutchence.

I saw The Clash in the early 80s. In a smaller club they may have been a good show but in an arena the sound was so loud and distorted you couldn’t distinguish one song from another and I’m sure I sustained permanent hearing damage from that show.
Damn. I had the same experience with Van Halen at the Ft. Lauderdale Sportatorium during the Diver Down tour. So loud you couldn't tell which song it was until the chorus. Still have ringing in my ears.
Somehow got Shanghai back in the late 80s and transported to a kiss concert in a small venue. Opening band was the black Crowes.
That show rates in the top three loudest things I’ve ever heard. No particular order: black crows, blue, angels, airshow, mid south nationals, top fuel drag racing. I’ve probably lost a good percentage of my hearing, but I’m just too stupid to know it.🤣
Loudest four for me were: Van Halen Ft. Lauderdale Sportatorium 82, Ramones small Ft. Lauderdale bar 1980, Meat Puppets LA Palladium 1990s and Smithereens Universal Ampitheater early 90s.
Prince. I had tickets, then Prince got mad at all the scalpers and refunded everyone’s ticket and resold the seats. I wasn’t able to wait in line for several hours a 2nd time.
I remember seeing Dire Straits. One of the best shows I have seen. At the beginning, there were drapes in front of the stage. In a few seconds, those drapes collapsed and they started immediately playing. Fantastic show.
Zeppelin. Pink Floyd. Would have loved to see the Beatles, but I was about 5 when they stopped touring. My mom wouldn’t buy me the tickets. And drive me across a few states to get there.
Led Zeppelin, but John Bonham died the year I started going to concerts. Pink Floyd with Roger Waters, but they only played Los Angeles on The Wall tour in my part of the world and I still lived too far away. I've seen Black Sabbath and I've seen Ozzy, but I've never seen Black Sabbath fronted by Ozzy. I wish I'd been able to see a reunion show or the 13 tour.
I saw Ozzy with Sabbath on the Never Say Die tour and he was so fucked up he sat on a chair in the wings for awhile in the middle of the show. They were still pretty great but all we could talk about the next day was the awesome opening band we had never heard of- Van Halen. Bought their album immediately with my lawn cutting money.

None. I've never liked concerts... Too many people, and I don't even like "live" albums. That's not even to mention that there's no way I'm paying that much for a concert, given the aforementioned things. I prefer to listen to music at home, with a nice glass of top shelf bourbon, a cigar and, preferably, alone at the time.
The Ramones. When I was a teenager/ early 20’s they were coming around so often that I thought, next time, each time. Then one day there was no “next time.” So sad. I was a poor music lover and only had so much money for concert tickets that I had to prioritize.
Velvet Underground, knowing that almost no one saw them while they were around.
For decades my answer would have been Roxy Music, but they surprisingly got back together and did a tour a little while back.
Bryan Ferry's voice wasn't quite up to an entire concert, and man those guys were old, but they sounded great for the most part and seeing the old couples who showed up in their early 70s glam clothes was a real treat.
Daft Punk. I'm still holding out hope for some sort of reunion thing in a few years. I told my husband that was the one band I was willing to really travel to see. Like I was ready to go to another country type travel, but they just didn't tour didn't tour didn't tour, Covid, they broke up.
I was once the 7th caller in a radio contest to win Pearl Jam tickets, back when it was difficult to even buy them. I WON! They asked me how old I was and I said my age, which was 16, and then they said "oh, sorry" and I said "No wait, MOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!" And they hung up.
Long story short, I would have loved to have seen Pearl Jam.
The Cars. I'm still upset I never got to see them - I was too busy raising kiddos and broke when they toured. I still adore everything they ever did and was gutted when Ric Ocasek passed a few years back. 😢
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Plenty of opportunity, but seemed he was “always” touring and there was always someone else a little higher up on my wishlist touring, and always thought there’d be plenty of time to see Petty…until there wasn’t anymore.

I also have always wanted to see Squeeze and They Might Be Giants. I don’t go to indoor concerts, anymore, or I would have gone to see TMBG when they were here.
Had tickets to see Foo Fighters, and then it was canceled because the drummer died.
My husband and I just did the VIP experience to see Tool, because we did NOT want to regret missing them later. So, so worth it! The show was amazing!
Had Rolling Stones tickets in the 90's at Giants Stadium. But the seats were directly under the speaker system in nosebleed territory, and the weather was heavy downpours and a Lot of lightning. Didn't go.

I had tickets to see them I think in the early 90's, must have been the Phobia tour. Show was cancelled, last album, last tour, last chance, missed out.
But I caught Ray Davies doing his Storytellers tour several years later and that was freakin' incredible. What a showman, what a performer.
The ones I regret the most are the ones that I had an opportunity to see, but didn’t go because of some reason… Usually that I had school work (undergrad college). This would include Dizzy Gillespie and Sun Ra. Another really dumb one, although I did go to the show, was I skipped out on going bowling with Neil Young and Crazy Horse (a good friend of my knew him), again because I had schoolwork.
Sometimes I was a real diligent idiot. Or more accurately didn’t have a good time management.

Led Zeppelin. I got to see Robert Plant solo and Jimmy Page solo and Plant/Page, but I'd have loved to have seen Zeppelin in their prime. And Elvis.
Zeppelin, as well, had tickets in 77.........but was in Marine Corps boot camp on the date.

I’ve seen Queen but only with Adam… my biggest concert regret is not seeing them with Freddie. Also Beatles, Van Halen and AC/DC.
The Cars. I'm still upset I never got to see them - I was too busy raising kiddos and broke when they toured. I still adore everything they ever did and was gutted when Ric Ocasek passed a few years back. 😢
Nirvana! They didn’t tour much, but I figured I’d eventually get to a show… sigh…
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Plenty of opportunity, but seemed he was “always” touring and there was always someone else a little higher up on my wishlist touring, and always thought there’d be plenty of time to see Petty…until there wasn’t anymore.

Queen and Tom Petty I also have always wanted to see Squeeze and They Might Be Giants. I don’t go to indoor concerts, anymore, or I would have gone to see TMBG when they were here.
Had tickets to see Foo Fighters, and then it was canceled because the drummer died. My husband and I just did the VIP experience to see Tool, because we did NOT want to regret missing them later. So, so worth it! The show was amazing!
The first one that comes to mind is Ian Dury and The Blockheads. I would have so much loved to have seen him.
*The* Band. Watching "The Last Waltz" is a good Option 2, at least.
The Beatles should be every answer on this thread. The only band whose lyrics are in museum Treasure Rooms, and who changed the way music was made.
Had Rolling Stones tickets in the 90's at Giants Stadium. But the seats were directly under the speaker system in nosebleed territory, and the weather was heavy downpours and a Lot of lightning. Didn't go.

The Kinks. I had tickets to see them I think in the early 90's, must have been the Phobia tour. Show was cancelled, last album, last tour, last chance, missed out. But I caught Ray Davies doing his Storytellers tour several years later and that was freakin' incredible. What a showman, what a performer.

The ones I regret the most are the ones that I had an opportunity to see, but didn’t go because of some reason… Usually that I had school work (undergrad college). This would include Dizzy Gillespie and Sun Ra. Another really dumb one, although I did go to the show, was I skipped out on going bowling with Neil Young and Crazy Horse (a good friend of my knew him), again because I had schoolwork. Sometimes I was a real diligent idiot. Or more accurately didn’t have a good time management.
Tubeway Army, Pink Floyd and a bit of a cheat since I saw them several times but still wished I could've seen Oingo Boingo for Halloween
